  1. nah cuz lee tang and rohbin are literally like a mixed L and kira and ryuk all the same in one duo i really liked their dynamic (im making a death note reference yes and sorry I couldn’t help it:)

  2. what is this drama even about there’s no thrill, no suspense and the no goal apart from avoiding being caught by the police who are doing a terrible job at catching them

  3. “i don’t care what happens to me, but could you leave tang alone?” (episode 8, 5:36)

woo shik (lee tang) and yo han (roh bin) were traumatized men who found solace in each other’s company. this was evident in episodes 6-8. yo han (roh bin) sacrificed himself and woo shik (lee tang) rushed to his side, weeping, refusing to let go of his lifeless body and addressing him with the affectionate term “hyung” (he used the term even before episode 8)

the drama didn’t “reduce” yo han (roh bin), woo shik (lee tang) and hee joon (song chon) to “criminals.” the three of them had multifaceted personalities and backgrounds

yo han (roh bin), for example, was an intelligent orphan. his belief that “human trash should be discarded/thrown away” was a reflection of his exposure to the harsh realities of societal inequality from a young age. similarly, hee joon (song chon) was labeled as “the son of a criminal,” mistreated by his superiors and denied the opportunity to pursue his dream of becoming a detective. his eventual embrace of the “criminal” label was a response to society’s prejudices

skipping over the inappropriate, nsfw scenes and clearing them out of the way, i was pleasantly surprised by the acting, editing, male dynamics and yo han (roh bin)’s adorably chubby cheeks. it would be a delight to see the reunion of the quartet, yo han (roh bin), woo shik (lee tang), hee joon (song chon) and suk ku (nan gam), in a future family drama. i want them to be a happy family. and i insist, with all due respect, that suk ku (nan gam) arrive at the hypothetical family gathering clean-shaven. beards and mustaches are visually unpleasing to the discerning eye

  4. I don’t know if its because i was looking forward to this drama a lot but after i watched it, the drama just fell short of whatever anticipation i had built up in my head. I expected a lot more from it but it was just meh.
The first half of the drama was actually engaging but then i got to the second half and i was struggling to finish the episodes.

  5. wow, that was hard to follow along with. I really don’t like these types of dramas that skip around with the timeline and cut between events where you have to keep piecing together what just happened. it seemed from episode 5 to 8 that it was hard to follow along and lost focus on the ML. I had to force myself to finish it. this would be a great watch for someone who likes that kind of drama. I just want to chill

  6. I can’t decide whether to watch this or not. The ratings aren’t terrible, but the comments aren’t promising. Everyone seems like they thought it was hyped up too much and started lacking in the later episodes.

  7. I dont enjoy a lot thrillers but idk why i enjoyed this! Not a boring moment From beginning to end.

I went without expectations and the twists got my gears in my head turning. The directing was genius. The change in tone in the 2nd half furthered intrigued me. Cinematography was gorgeous. Whatever the director and writers were plotting in the 2nd half , i very much understood it.

Suprised that many people here didnt enjoy it

  8. she isn’t dumb she’s just conceited/self important. plenty of dramas you can watch that are female centered also if this isn’t your taste.

  9. I hope there is a season 2 – I really enjoyed this. Choi Woo Shik and Son Suk Ku never disappoint. I feel like the second half of the series, they kind of set up to show the premise of a season 2.

  10. Halfway through it & the thing that stands out the most is DIRECTION & editing. The frame pans so smoothly in transitions that your mind is in a paradox.

  11. just good not much more maybe meh I don’t think the show is marketed correctly. The trailers seems to be an inaccurate representation of the show. There is no thrill to it really, its a slow burner

  12. Liked the show but god at one point i WANTED the detective to go back to smoking cause i couldn’t take the noise of thd chewing gum anymore 😭😭

  13. Yeah its the tiktok generation. If there isnt “action” for 5-10 sec its “boring”, and they are onto the next video clip right away. The series is definitely well paced, has slick production and is alot of fun if you like the black humor-noir genre.

  14. For first 3-4 episodes i would give it 8.5 but after that it became so boring. I’m going to share an unpopular opinion, imo Netflix exclusives dramas are overrated. Saw so many dramas but the Netflix shows always looks like drama just to gain international audience attention. Don’t get me wrong, i mean everyone wants their works to reach internationally but in Kdramas it looses it charm.
    7/10 for me

  15. i was a bit skeptical during the first eps but it really really got better afterwards and it got me hooked til the end its a really good watch

  16. i wanna binge watch this but 50% of the ppl say its good 50% say it was total garbage, and i dont wanna waste 8 hours😭

  17. I’ve talked about watching movies/dramas w some of my friends and some of them said that they watch stuff on x1,5 or even x2 speed 😭 I don’t want to sound snobby but how is watching anything like that enjoyable 🥹

  18. the fact that some people call an 8ep show dragged out is kinda concerning to me bc did tiktok finally shorten our attention span into oblivion lmaoo to me personally it didn’t feel dragged out at all.. as someone said here already, seems like this show found the wrong audience

  19. Finally finished. Really well made drama with superb performance by the cast esp Son Seok Ku… and that’s it. The story isn’t that good. Despite the good direction, editing and performances I found myself bored throughout it.

  20. Honestly, this isn’t bad, but it ins’t noteworthy either. I’m 3 episodes in and there’s nothing really interesting about it. I’m not curious on how it ends either. I can drop the series and not really care. I thought it was going to be good cause of the main character, but not even him could save this plot convenient script

Oh and there’s no comedy. It’s more like a slow mystery thriller

  21. It is not a bad show whatsoever. It is just marketed in a way where you would think it is a thriller when it’s actually a slow burner that is where the disappointment comes in because of the bad marketing it has not reached its target audience leaving people with disappointment. With that being said the show is just meh it’s a nice light watch

  22. 2 dayssss to go plsss. I’ve always wanted this type of drama esp whem im too stressed so i have no time to think about my prob lols

  23. Just finished A Shop For Killers so I’m hungry for more action/thriller shows, and I’m sooo ready for Woo Shik serial killer era (he ate downnn in the witch movie)… 2024 is starting with a bang I love it

  24. eh, I loved vigilante.
I guess opinions differ but they definitely did vigilante right. I wouldn’t call vigilante or the MC of thus drama “anti-hero” tho anyway. especially no this MC lee tang

  25. This looks like it already could be one of the best of 2024, or at least in top 3. I dont know much about the writer but it has everything else, a sick story, an amazing cast and by looking at the trailer the production values seems to be top notch. So super hyped!

By the way I advice people not to watch the trailer, they show alot in it.

  26. I can’t see a Kdrama being greenlit to include an ML who ends up being an actual serial killer without a redemption arc kicking in at some point. Totally possible with a 2ML, but THE ML? Hmmmm…

As I was writing the above, I literally thought, “Wait, is this a Netflix Kdrama?” Sure enough. Now I can believe this drama could have an ML who’s a serial killer. Cause I have yet to watch a Kdrama with an ML who is evil. Morally gray? Plenty of those. But an all-out baddie? I have yet to see one. But seeing as Netflix likes to push the envelope on the Kdrama formula, it’s certainly possible with this one. 😏

  29. Hahaha guys, look at the new posters side by side (korean vs english ver). What have they done to Woo Shik’s hair in the korean one xD Photoshop gone wrong

  30. did I spend money to finish the webtoon? yes
do i regret it? absolutely no
am I even more excited? hell yes

    can the 9th come faster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  31. It’s similar to series Dexter, where the main lead is a serial killer. The dark hero who kills the bad seeds. Sounds like an interesting plot especially for kdrama.

  32. fyi, for the beginning of February (exactly 1 Feb), there will be three domestic events in SK by the same day: Production Presentation Conference & Fan Event by Netflix; and Q&A Session by Naver Talk. All three lead casts are to attend there (mayhaps alongside the director as well)

  33. I assure you: he nails this drama. we’ll witness the ratings domestically (fosho) and internationally (in doubt, but hoping there would be a miracle) on this ott platform a week after its release

  35. special thanks/credit to this fanacc of ssk, this states (SPOILER ALERT) titular text in Korean with some possibilities that links to this drama:

  36. I love a good anti-hero. But I’m definitely gonna be fanboying over Son Suk Ku, the dude has the charisma and got that masculine charm with him..

  37. Both Woo Sik and Suk Ku have been on my radar for a long time. I’d honestly watch any project they are in. They are both such versatile and talented actors. Them acting together is like a dream come true! Looking forward to this one.
