A Shoulder to Cry On (2023)

A story about Lee Da Yeol, a talented archer who finds himself in a difficult situation. Dae Yeol is a scholarship student who is not popular among his peers and only finds solace in the archery club. However, a run-in with a handsome classmate, Jo Tae Hyun, puts his scholarship in jeopardy. Tae Hyun, who is one of the school’s most popular students, claims that Dae Yeol tried to make out with him and the rumors spread quickly. Despite Dae Yeol’s attempts to clear the misunderstanding, Tae Hyun continues to make his life miserable by following him everywhere.

As Dae Yeol tries to navigate the consequences of Tae Hyun’s lies, he finds himself struggling with conflicting emotions. Despite the hate he feels towards Tae Hyun, he finds himself drawn to him. As the line between hate and love becomes blurred, Dae Yeol must find a way to resolve the situation and protect his future.

  3. This is a cute BL. I wouldn’t say it’s the best Korean BL for me, but it’s perfectly fine. But please be aware that some trigger warnings may apply for one episode. If you’re sensitive to such issues, it’s better to look into it. I sincerely hope this drama helps their group because those guys have gone through some serious stuff. Their song for the Ost was really nice, so they can definitely make music.

      1. Personal preference but I believe the best are ‘Semantic Error’, ‘Blueming’, and ‘Where your Eyes Linger’. I would rank this somewhere in Top 10. Actually, Korea has several BL series that are fine in terms of technical stuff, soundtrack etc. I think their main “problem” can be the story/plot which tend to be very simple due to time restrictions. But if you like a specific sub-genre, eg fantasy or office drama, you can probably find something to like.

    2. Update on May 8, 2023: Omega X, the group of the two male leads finally settled their legal dispute against their abusive company. From the announcement, it’s implied that they have not disbanded but they’ll continue their activities with the same manager. Let’s support their new start and wish them the best ???

        2. No. 31 of December is not the airing date. They also have this problem with the most recent Season of the 2moons series. The airing date is the same but there are already Episodes online. Dramacool probably hasn’t uploaded it yet. Or they are not planing to.
          The Series gets streamed on viki but i don’t know if the first episode is out yet.
