Synopsis: Set in the 1930s, this drama tells the love triangle story of two brothers from a rich family and a woman with a mysterious background.

To find her missing father, the young maiden Gu Hai Tang (Li Yi Tong) comes to Kunyang and starts to work at a rouge factory owned by the Lang family. There she meets the family’S second son Yue Xuan (Deng Lun). They don’t like each other in the beginning and always argue, but soon they become good friends.

Yue Ming (Ying Hao Ming), the family’s eldest son, also likes Hai Tang and manages to make his family trick her to marry him. When Hai Tang learns that she was married to the wrong person, she starts to hate Yue Xuan for deceiving her. She then promises the Lang family to cure Yue Ming’s disfigured face in exchange for a divorce. Yue Xuan feels guilty about what he does and finally comes to realize his true feelings. He pursues High Tang again.

However, after Yue Ming fully recovers, his love for Hai Tang turns to hate. He takes over the factory and even tries to destroy the relationship between his brother and Hai Tang. At the same time, the true identity of Hai Tang’s father and the truth behind Yue Xuan’s hardships in life are revealed.
