  4. 8f Jing had even small sense, that’s what she should have done in the first place (one could argue that she wanted to protect her son. But this someone who caused her mother’s death and felt no remorse so no). The villain in her story is her husband, not Hua family.

  5. I was right FL is a certified lover girl. She’s all heart eyes and actions. I love how she’s all in, open and transparent. No shy silliness

    To be honest, madam Qi isn’t doing anything wrong.
    She adopted the child, and by the rules and standards then it’s not an open adoption. She already has an unhealthy dependence on the boy. Madam Qin is the one interfering and causing her anxiety. She should manage herself better.
    I really hope this is the end of the focus on her, cause her character is just exhausting

  11. patriarchy is such an interesting system, bc if u think about it there’s really no elderly male characters telling these women what to do, but each time they still choose the oppressive system bc although there’s no man, the society and their upbringing/background/education or lack of, stands in for him.

    it is hilarious that the eldest daughter killed herself to make trouble for the hua family but lmaoooo yanxi ruined her plan literally 15 mins after she died 🤣🤣🤣 she lived stupid and died stupid 😂 what an idiot.

    concubine qin been going through a lot, but I can’t suspend my irritation long enough to feel pity for her…I think it’s the constant wailing. credit to the actress though I think she nailed it

  12. The eldest daughter kept blaming the wrong person for all her troubles, finally Yanxi put her to where she could actually get revenge on the one who had wronged her. Was very satisfying to see that ex-husband’s face and see him have a stroke!

  16. Well i will clap 👏👏👏👏👏 how song family ended and 👍👍👍👍to quick thinking of ML.How he turned the table on Songs.They all deserved it even Hua Jin.
    HUA zhi mother character is bit irritating,but then may be in that era women were like this..scared to leave husband,even if they don’t love them or respect them. This concubine Qin or whatsoever Boli birth mother is very very irritating not only by looks but character too from first episode.

  18. Smart move on Yanxi’s part bet she never even considered a wild card that would ruin her plan. Hung her right outside the Song residence. Serves her and her abusive husband right.As abusive and aggressive as he was never thought that sight would give him a stroke.

    Bless Shaoyao, she was able to make Boli and his adoptive mother see the flip side of the coin and how having two mothers was actually a good thing.
