  1. Whaaaat….I did not expect Han Shi Yuan’s true identity. But also glad it turned out that way? At least Bao Huan doesn’t seem to be a bad person then. And omg, the things Liuniang made Shen Du eat. Hahahahah.

    The cases are actually interesting, but it’s seriously involving too many people that it’s starting to get a little confusing. But maybe that’s the whole point I guess?? Coz they did constantly say the case turned out to be larger than involving more people than they thought. But since Lai is probably behind the moth case (I think?), what is he after? I’m sort of lost regarding that. Up till now, I’m still not quite sure what Lai is after. If he’s after power, how does bringing back the moth case benefit him?

  2. Drama getting more confusing. One big thing that bothers me is how they keep introducing new characters by flashing their name for like 2 seconds. Then they mention this person later on and I’m like who tf is that. They should keep the characters to a few memorable ones rather than expecting us to connect with a new character that will be gone by the next few episodes. I think that’s the main disconnect I have with this drama. Too little time for the mains, too many sides (some mentioned before they are even introduced onscreen), and the unnatural flow of romance that seems fickle at best.

  3. Looks like the whole Jing….(coth merchant) affair of past was a trap by the other Prince. Fire Moth was started to kill the remaining witnesses. Lai wants to re-opn that fire moth case for re-investigation. He has a clear motive of revenge. I feel that Princess of Valore and the Prince are the real culprits.
