Synopsis: A tragedy occurs for three women, caused by greed and desire.

Yoo Soo Yeon grew up with ordinary parents. She falls in love with a man from a chaebol family and marries him. Her life seems to mirror that of Cinderella and she is envied by others, but her life isn’t easy due to mistreatment from her in-laws.

Cha Hwa Young is full of greed and desire. She tries to keep her upper class life.

Go Mi Sook is a private moneylender and she owns a franchise restaurant chain. She is a good person.

I see some of y’all claiming how stupid and naive the girl is…but that’s what makes her character unique.not everyone is wise and strong ..unlike other series …they always make everything predictable but her frustrating choices makes you wonder what’s gonna happen to her.I dint like it at first too but after understanding her character, the writers knew what they were doing it’s not that they aren’t smart ..they definitely wanted her to act that way.

  4. I like this drama and its premise, but i am so disappointed how stupid Yoo Soo Yeon’s character is written. She doesn’t have any ability to mask her emotions and devise elaborate plan or strategy. All she does is running around like a crazy person, reveal all her intentions to Seo Yoo-Ra & Cha Hwa Young, getting too emotional and naive. Dear writers, Why can’t you write a smarter character who learns from her past mistake and come back stronger & more calculated?

      Her character is very irritating.
      Extremely irritating, and very stupid.
      The stupidity makes me feel like she deserves what she’s getting.

      Ordinary phone call, she just ran. After seeing the creepy location, she still entered. She’s lucky she didn’t die before her boss found her.
      She still went to show the evidence to seo Yu Ra.
      Accepted her ex husband into her home. Then the boy started interrogating her about her whereabouts. Instead of her to give him serious warning and stand up for herself, she still needs her mother to stand up for her, if not she will chop the shout, bullshit and disrespect. A very stupid girl!

      Even the actress is too slow and wayyy too rigid.
      I’m still watching this drama just to see the end of cha hwa young.

    Also, I must commend the writer/producer of this drama. for the drama to be interesting and making everyone look forward to every next episodes tells that the person is intelligent and has a very rich imaginations.

    I look forward to the completion of Golden Mask and I recommend it for nominations for Kdrama Award.

  22. what a horrible mother in law. her daughter in law she did good to her in law parents. and even to her own husband
    her husband is the one who cheat with other girl.

    top of it she was pregnant and she got kick out by her mother in law in rain shower. there was a thunderstorm – that thunderstorm
    i heard god give that punish to someone when they send thunder in rain ( old Korean Myth)

    this may be a drama. but in actual in korea rich people in korea they abuse poor people. people might not believe it i seen them in korean news everyday. Mbc-sbs-kbs.
