1. SPOILER… WOW, what a marvelous ep❣️🙌🥺 At first I was thinking, Noooo, why did Natsu have to say it was a joke?!😫 I really wanted to hear why Tanaka couldn’t kiss him. Then SURPRISE Natsu found the bold courage to come clean and ask again – my boy has balls of steel for that! And the maturity in the response Kudos, I’m so proud of these writers for not letting our MLs play unnecessary games with each other and us the viewing audience👏❤️ How did these writers manage to so accurately write this delicate dialog in such a believable manner and how did these MLs so accurately make those words come to life like that?!😭 To think, at the beginning of the ep I was slightly annoyed that the family had come to visit only to realize that Natsu’s mom had words of wisdom that gave Natsu the courage to say the truth about the kiss and why he wanted to try doing it. I should have had more faith in these writers. This is the same director responsible for Old Fashion Cupcake and Taikan Yoho series, which was so wonderful💖

   You could see Tanaka tearing up and feel Natsu’s own confusion about his feelings in that moment. He’s loving living with his bestie but why is he loving it so much? Such vulnerable and valid levels of insecurity. He’s feeling that it is likely more than friendship too but doesn’t know how to explain it or navigate this unchartered territory. The amount of openness, directness and respect during that scene was magnificent – the tilted head into each other, as to say, I, Tanaka really want us to go there but you need to feel your ready Natsu😭 We can tell that Tanaka does not think they will officially cross the friend zone but based on this mutual respect and curiosity by Natsu we know their first kiss will be an honest one, full of love and likely be a tender moment between them🙏 They are so natural and soft with each other that I can’t wait in anticipation of when it comes. My heart is actually beating fast here thinking about it💓Just want to add this is so special too considering that these writers put in such seemingly natural dialog in a short 23-min ep.👏 Natsu perfectly displayed the feelings of not knowing if it’s romantic love or platonic love he feels for Tanaka, and I can’t wait to see how he discovers his true love for him. I’m invested in this love story now💯

3. SPOILERS

   Poor guy lied about it being a joke to save face. One look at what her boy prepared and Mama knew what was up! Sisters totally fangirling over our boy Kaz was hilarious and Mama dropping words of wisdom was awesome. Nobody knows their kids like a Mother does.

   And that little bit of honesty went a long way. It got Kaz to admit that he wanted to kiss Nat, but out of respect for his feelings he couldn’t do it, even tho he wanted to. I like the idea that he didn’t want a kiss between them to be impulsive or forced… that if it was going to happen, he wanted it to happen naturally which in turn, basically got him to confess his feelings for Nat despite wanting to never let him know. Truth will always come to light babes. That’s how truth works. Gotta say tho, that little forehead touch was almost as good as getting a kiss anyway.

   Sleepover! WOOT! Love how they transitioned themselves out of what could have been a very awkward living sitch going forward. This is one of the bonuses of being friends first before anything else.

   Nat is just the sweetest person, even as a child. Thinking only of his friend first and foremost, he reassured and comforted him in the most amazing way. No wonder Kaz developed feelings for him if this is an inkling of what their friendship was like. I love that it was that memory that Nat dreamed of too and that it resulted in him pulling Kaz into his arms the same way. *le sigh*

4. Sometimes old habits die hard. Sometimes a habit happens naturally, even in his sleep. Or perhaps Natsu pretended sleeping and took advantage of Tanaka for not kissing him. 😅 😆

   I love the flashbacks of their childhood days remembering certain sayings or promises.

   0:15 is the expression where you can’t control yourself…..poor Kazu 😅

   It’s a very well written story …good to see natsu clear him self about telling him it’s joke ….and Kazu also express his true feelings…..the mutual understanding bw them is so strong ….

   Ok it’s sleepover time ….lets take advantage…😅😂😂😂… I was waiting for morning scene for natsu reaction for cuddling kazu😂😂

6. At first I was thinking, oh well, guess we’ll need someone to get drunk and have some action, but these two cuties are way healthier than that. Half sleep hugs are way better than drunk confessions. 🥹

7. So this is what they say “Being in love with your best friend”
   These 2 are sooo cute and you can see that they are truly besties, they enjoy eachother’s company. I find the leads acting very natural and the story is sooo sweet. Funny, I keep comparing this drama to the other currently airing (about the leads who are acting and decide to start a relationship etc) and can’t help but enjoy this one a whole lot more…

9. A HEALTHY relationship starts with trust and COMMUNICATION! Relationships that have that as a foundation lasts long and are more enviable! And that is exactly what Natsukawa and Kazuhito are doing. They have to be in a relationship, but they are openly communicating, trusting and validating each other’s feelings, so that there is nor would be no unnecessary misunderstandings and mistakes made in the future.

   Love them both for being so realistic and raw with their feelings. Kazuhito for not denying his true feelings and confirming [and confessing] them to Natsukawa. And Natsukawa expressing the fact that this is uncharted territory that he is not aware of and thus needs some time. He did not reject [nor accept] Kazuhito’s feelings; in fact, actually validate Kazuhito’s feelings and acknowledged them, despite him being thrown into a state of confusion.

   Honestly, one thing J-BL dramas DOES BEST is to establish the characters to communicate, validate and try to be more understanding on both sides FIRST before we get any actual conflict in the characters relationships.
