  2. If you know what an abusive relationship is like, you’d feel more sympathetic to Ploy. I often see this abusive trope, particularly female chars, being used superficially in Asian dramas without ever addressing it adequately. This here is no exception. I personally think it’s misogynistic to use an abused woman as a steppingstone to progress the storyline in this manner and immediately forgotten. Her purpose is done now.

    1. They get used because this is just how real life is. And directors mostly try to make the dramas realistic and related to what is going on in this cruel world.

    3. I hear you but no. Did you forget that Ploy cheated on the sweetest man ever? I’m not saying she deserved to be abused, no one does never, but she was also manipulative and cunning towards Vee. If she hadn’t cheated first she wouldn’t have been abused. Sorry but zero sympathy towards her. She had Vee, she cheated with Ton, she still didn’t break up with Vee but repeatedly told him she loved him and what would she do without him while in her way to sleep over at Ton’s. Then she gets caught and she has the audacoty.to not end it straight away but wants to “think” and idiot Vee is too much of an idiot to nope away from such a toxic situation. Then her and Vee have a relationship pause and she meets up with Ton. He beats her, she sees Vee, Vee gets angry ofc, Vee gets hurt, Ploy breaks up with Ton and wants to get back with Vee. “I thought he did it out of love but seeing Vee today reminded me that you don’t hurt the ones you love” the AUDACITY, Ploy. SHE hurt Vee, she also abused him emotionally and gaslighted him… F*** off, Ploy.

      1. Vee literally told Ploy that he was waiting for them to break up for good so that he can move on, with Mark. She actually saw the pics Vee posted yet she has the audacity to kiss him?! Naaah she’s way too toxic. I do feel bad that the douchebag was hitting and abusing her and I know it’s not easy getting out of a toxic relationship but she should have known better. This girl doesn’t know boundaries. She can’t just break Vee’s heart then suddenly want him back after her failed cheating relationship and then act all sorry and apologetic after kissing Vee. If she was mature enough she could have taken better care of herself and she could have avoided relationships for the time being coz she was recently abused. But then she goes on and does that, she doesn’t even last a day. Literally no hesitation.
