1. I really like this episode. The way they were being honest and shouted out their liking for each other😊 But Phun shouldn’t have gotten together with Aim just because others said that they were a good match 😔 Same for Noh. He didn’t like that girl too 😐

2. The story is not sticking to it’s originality and I kinda like it. Phun didn’t have unrecognised feelings for Noh before he asked him to be his fake bf, Aim is not a victim, she liked Phum and definitely wasn’t into girls, and Noh was the one who asked what Phum would do if he didn’t have conditions/restrictions (i.e Aim and gender differences) when Phum was worried about Aim, and yes, Phum cheats that night. How much ever I loved it, I can’t deny, original was a total mess.

   With new times, I’m glad they are trying to remove toxicity and making characters mature enough to understand and realise their feelings, the situation they are in and the people they have involved. The beach conversation was really good. The actors are getting better too. And we can actually understand why they decided to be friends in that moment even tho both confessed. As Noh said “Love. If it’s real, it has to come at the right time, too.”🥹🤌🏻

   Mick and Marwin were introduced… Per and Ohm buckle up!!🤭🤣 As for Earn, you aren’t even a step behind here coz Phum already took the elevator to Noh’s heart🤭🤭 I’m also looking forward to Pete. His feelings were left at cliffhanger.

   Also idk what to feel about Aim and Jean tho😭 what do y’all think?I need new perceptions🤌🏻

3. SPOILER…I’m all caught up with this series now…😅 I’m really enjoying this remake so far👍 I wasn’t sure I would after binge watching season 1 (before ep 2 aired of this version) and binging the whole 2nd season (before ep 3 aired of this version). Now that was a task😫 You should have seen my face when I saw it was a whopping 36 eps.😮💩 I’m not usually a binge-watcher for a reason, lol…🙈 Ngl those first few episodes (of season 1) were rough😒, but suddenly I started to enjoy it and found it to be an endearing, youthful coming-of-age series🥰 I even recognized having seen some of the scenes before🙃 Also seeing many of our fav male Thai actors now, as young kids then, they were super cute🤩 I absolutely disliked the old-school fake angle kisses, but I hope and expect that since homosexuality is generally more accepted today, censorship won’t be an issue and/ or the actors will feel more comfortable to actually kiss in this remake and I don’t mean in a salacious way. The obvious fake angle kisses disturbed the flow of romantic dialog and course of events for me in the original🙇‍♀️

   The pace of this remake feels faster than the original. But I’m liking the chemistry between this Phun and Noh too💓💞 What is selling this to me right now is that so far there’s more focus on not just how our main characters feel for each other but how it affects their significant others from the start👍 This is an important change and acknowledgement for me that was missing in the original. I know Aim was a serial cheater and was doing far worse things to Phun than Phun did while secretly loving and dating Noh and Noh wasn’t actually dating Yuri for real, but Phun didn’t know about Aim’s secrets until he was in a full-blown relationship with Noh. And to my knowledge Noh, never disclosed to anyone his relationship was make believe with Yuri, not even to Phun. Given that Aim also seems to be struggling with her sexuality in this remake, and in this version, she’s also more self-aware about her lack of romantic feelings for Phun and vice versa, I hope this means they won’t drag out their break-ups until the end of the series🙏 I love how both Noh and that girl are calling Aim and Phun out for being selfish.

   (also wonder if this girl is Aim’s true love interest and vice versa🤔). Anyways, Aim and Phun shouldn’t have dated in the first place just bc others thought they were a good fit but yeah, they’re kids trying to figure it out.

   Back in 2014 same-sex exploration and dating wasn’t as accepted as it is today. So, I gave a pass to Noh and especially Phun exploring their sexuality while already having relationships. They were quite young too, so the deceit didn’t feel as egregious. Today, more people understand and accept that it isn’t weird to have feelings for the same sex, so even tho processing those feelings for the individuals going through this may still be difficult, at least generally speaking most know that they aren’t going through those types of feelings alone today than they did back then, especially in some more conservative countries.

   This ep- The sweetness of their mutual love confession, the openness and honesty is more evident in the dialog here. The reluctance for Noh to leave the car (after their overnight fun) and the wanting to keep Noh in the car at the school parking lot from Phun was so obvious🥰 I gushed a little🫠
   
   

   I love that these characters still seem young, with vulnerable sensibilities but still are more mature than the original👍 They don’t “dummy” these characters just bc they’re young and less experienced when it comes to love and relationships. I loved this line from Noh bc it acknowledges their mutual love but that the timing isn’t right just yet. If it’s meant to be, it will happen… “Love. If it’s real, it has to come at the right time, too.”
   
   P.S. I hope these writers keep the catty, jealous, low self-esteem girls to a minimum in this remake. As it was tough to digest until the end of season 2🙏

4. Almond is so precious 🥺

   I know they change up Aim’s character a bit.. I recall her being much more of a bish in the original. Here its more implied that she is kinda crushin on her friend.. or did I read into that wrong? .. either way why the f they wana change her character.. give her a sob story and add a GL plot? 😒 keep her as the hoe she is. kinda mad they changed her but left Yuri annoying.. 🤣

I’m gonna be honest, I never watched the original of this show so I don’t know what’s gonna happen 😭 I kinda get where Yuri is coming from but she was a little annoying in that scene where she was asking about Phun cause it’s reasonable to be worried about your friends but to an extent. She was getting kinda personal with what she was asking and how she was talking especially when it’s obvious (atleast to me) that Aim isn’t straight and doesn’t like Phun. I also hate how everyone keeps saying that Aim and Phun are a “perfect match” cause it’s just putting more pressure on their feelings or the people around them feelings and that saying just makes me mad. Anyway kinda tired rn so I don’t even know if this makes sense

6. Since this is a condensed version, I’m more in tune with the progress of Noh and Pun’s development in relationships. The actors still lack affection in their roles, but I got the gist of it. I notice the obvious differences in this version. I’m not into the GL story. So I won’t digest Aim’s affair. This 2024 Noh and Pun apparently had a history. They went through a list of their first encounters, recalling each that were not in the original version.

   I now feel a little bit of that Love Sick feelings within Noh and Pun. Not much was said between them. It’s just the feeling of being next to that person you like to have just him.

7. dang it. why did it have to be uploaded late. LOL I mean, I’m thankful tho. It’s just that it took me quite some time to watch it because I’m in the middle of work and apparently am not an open bl-watcher. It was hard to find a corner to squeeze into just to watch this XD. I haven’t exactly watch the 2014 version so I’m thankful that I’m not able to compare it to that.
   I must say… I didn’t think I would like it at first. But late ep1-ep2 made me look forward to episode 3. In other words, I love it. 😅😅
