  2. 3:50 Ah, I squealed. Mixed emotions about this episode and the upcoming ones. I’m happy there was an actual kiss scene, but I dreaded the r*pe scene. Now, I’m distressed about the next coming episodes – the cold poison torture, the excruciating pain Xiao Bao will endure because of this, the feeling of abandonment, the separation and many more. At least, I’m looking forward to Jin Bao and Que Si Ming story blossoms.

  3. I was glad we got an on-screen kiss (yes, the context is awful. The scene from the book was hard to read) that will hopefully keep changing the game for bl dramas. So far the show is going a long with the book quite well. I stayed up until 2 am to read the whole thing to ensure I wasn’t panicked about anything. All in all this show is amazing and I’m so glad I get to watch it.

  8. What I am confused about is who actually got the Xue family killed.
    Did the empress help the Jin’s & Furun group club to massacre them? Were these two different incidents? As of now it looks to be the same incident with many hands involved trying to take advantage for their own greed. Like the 2nd prince wife (Princess Xue) was murdered in the chaos orchestrated by the Empress whilst the others took the family out except for the little girl. 🧐

I hate the way xiaobao was treated by both sides they all lied to him his bf and his parents aswell because why did they fail to mention that they were the ones that tried striking first.The uncle emperor dude is crazy for gaslighting xiaobao into poisoning his man.I’m just hoping that he’ll not rush into things and hear him out
    On my part I’m kind of glad he took the sister away so she wouldn’t be used by the emperor to blackmail the family I hope this change for the better
