Synopsis:

In the present day, Jang Bong Hwan works as a chef at the President’s Blue House. He has a free spirit, but his spirit somehow finds its way into the body of Queen Kim So Yong in the Joseon period.

King Cheol Jong has secrets. He seems like a figurehead, who is gentle and easygoing. In fact, he hides his strong aspects. Queen Sunwon is the late King Sunjo’s wife. She wields the true power in the country and, thus, relegates King Cheol Jong as just a figurehead. Kim Jwa Geun is Queen Sunwon’s younger brother. He is extremely ambitious.

  2. I liked the drama but it seems to me the king fell in love with Jang Bong Hwang and not Kim so Yong ,how she gets to to just come back and continue didn’t sit well with me

  4. I have watched so many historical Kdramas but this one top my list as the best entertaining fantasy historical drama. I salute Kim Jung-hyun and Shin Hae Sun, beautiful chemistry between them. What a stellar performance. If anyone wants a fresh take and less bloody drama, this is the one to watch. Not even one boring episode, it will keep you at the edge of your seat. Thank you to the directors and script writers and not forgetting the outstanding acting cast. Well-done!!

  11. One of the best k-dramas I’ve seen. Excellent acting and delivery from the actors, great display of romance,comedy, comic relief and tragedy. Great and happy ending too. Least I forget, I loved the song as well. I loved everything about the drama

  18. The queen Kim So Yong in history became queen when she was still 14 years old. Maybe that’s why they cast her because she looks like an adolescent.

  25. When I watch episode 17 online, I can watch it with subtitles but when I download it, there are no subtitles….
    Please fix this issue;it is causing inconvenience for the viewers…
    Also, watching it online is inconvenient as there is a lot of bufferings and slow loading!!!!
