  1. can anyone tell me, if its historically accurate for the normal population to not know what the current king or other royalty looks like?

    1. i didn’t see anyway definite information on the topic but some articles did mention that the royal families never left the palace and since social media obviously wasn’t a thing then, it’s probably safe to assume that is historically accurate.

The history at the beginning and the people are real. the king was actually a rags to riches story, but the difference is that he always stayed a puppet, but he did try to make reforms. he never had a secret life where he plotted for a revolution (at least i dont think he did. if he did, it wasn’t successful.). he did have a woman that he insisted to be brought to the palace, but she died from poison. the queen was barely a teenager (14), while the king was 20 when they married. they did have a baby, but it died less than a year old. the corruption within the andong kim clan was very much real. i cant find anything about his “vigor”, but he was a womanizer. the queen was cold, stoic, and not involved in politics unlike how she was portrayed in the show. everyone’s backstories/ childhood stories are fake.

Basically what happened was that the queeb family was the one who killed his family,if you remember the part where he was in the well and they queen also came and she gave him the book,she told her maid about the boy in the well which made them close so he would die ,you remember she promised to come back ,when she amd her brother where opening the well and they heard a sound and run the king climb up only for him to see the consult EUI the concubine so he mistook her for the girl
