1. Every episode was excellent except this one. It was a 40 minutes long anti- smoking commercial. The whole thing with the dad came out of nowhere. Wasn’t even mentioned in most episodes and then here he comes and we got 40 minutes of
   gut-wrenching grief and ”smoking is bad! Don’t do it!” WE deserved a proper ending. WE deserved a time skip that showed them getting back to their lives. Of Eiw and Cake loving, laughing, and being together. We didn’t get too many happy moments for them and we needed them! For something that was soooo well written and acted (even this last Just say no to cigarettes episode), I wanted to see Cake and Eiw being together and going about their lives day to day.
   The acting was top notch though. They made you feel everyone’s pain. But that whole 40 minutes of crying could have been shaved down to 10 and still had the same effect. Also, that kiss at the end! Barely touching lips after all that glorious eye contact. Like, COME ON! We deserved a better kiss!

   1. I definitely agree. I feel like for as well as the actors performed in this series, they definitely needed a better wrap-up than this. You could feel all the pain and all of the other emotions really well but it does just seem like a really long and sorrowful campaign against smoking and it had gotten a bit dragged. Sad that we didn’t get a time leap of any sort of all the characters living in peace (ex: Hom and Peak, Cake and Eiw). Not the best ending, wish it was a little more centered around the characters coming back from the death instead of other things like their dad etc. Overall a really good series and I wouldn’t mind watching it over again sometime later 🙂
