  1. While yes your reasoning is valid, it is quite invalid bc if Ji Hoon (the saver of Jae woo when he was a kid) had went and saved the kid with the old Jae woo and they all lived. The whole timeline will collapse and it will return to how it was at the start.
    Why? Bc the sole reason that made Jae woo (man who time traveled) time travel to the past is bc of his trauma when he saw Ji Hoon die, then if he never had this trauma he would have never time traveled leading to him not coming back to save him and resting the timeline to how it was at the start

  2. The ending is reasonable for me.

    It likes a pattern. Ji Hoon [has to die] to protect Jea Woo so Jea Woo will travel to the past to save him, and they meet and fall in love. If they both live then Jea Woo won’t come back and nothing happens.

    Let call the timeline at the beginning the original timeline (timeline 0): 27 year old Ji Hoon (JH27) saves 10 year old Jea Woo (JW10). At the age of 25, Jea Woo (JW25) travels back and meet JH27.

    By travelling back, a new timeline (timeline 1) forms. JH27 knows he will die and choose to sacrifice his life to keep the time pattern. Since he knows the future he becomes a new JH – JH27.1.
    JH27.1 saves JW10 and tells him somethings so JW won’t live in guilt for the next 15 years, thus creates JW10.1.
    JW25.1 (at the end, wears black coat) comes to the dorm again. He might travel back and try to save JH27.1 and creates timeline 2 with JH27.2 and JW25.2

    Just like that they will create multiple timeline with all kind of ending.

    This series hurts my heart and brain at the same time. It’s painful beautiful. 10/10

  3. I don’t understand why he went back to 2022 at the end after 15 years. Does not make sense going back than.

  4. Spoiler Warning…
    What I understood is in the end one of them would have had to die anyway. Because if they had saved Ji Hoon, the time travel from 2022 would have never happened and the time travel was the reason he knew the kid was going to die in the first place. So that means the kid would have died when the timeline changed and then there would be no memory of them meeting and having a relationship.
    Hope this makes sense , cuz this was heartbreaking to watch. ?❤

    Well, the ending was completely without any sense. They could had save the kid without any killing. It would have more sense if they changed the fate, he should not go alone to save the kid but take his friend with him and catch the kidnapper with the help of police..
