  1. I just made this account for this drama. This was my first k drama and I enjoyed the overall feel of it. The story was good the characters were well-written and it reminded me of my childhood. I see many people saying that this was sad and they cried but to me, it just feels like my childhood. 90’s feel like it happened yesterday. I get nostalgia from time to time but it doesn’t make me sad at all. To all the people in their youth right now, it doesn’t feel sad when you move on in life, it doesn’t feel sad to grow up, it’s just that they made this drama feel kind of sad. With everything that has happened, you tend to feel a personal connection with the characters and suddenly they are gone, that’s why you feel so sad. When you grow up and remember your youth you won’t miss it as much as you miss this drama, you will still feel that the youth is a part of you. I can’t really explain it but what I am trying to say is don’t be sad and be afraid to grow up, I grew up and I feel wonderful (dont confuse the drama with real life).

  3. hyeri(duk seon) and ryu jun yeol(jung hwan) didn’t end up in the drama together but did in real life. this really tells that sometimes real life is better than dramas.

  6. How am I supposed to move on from this drama !! ?? I’m gonna cry all over again !! The ending was so emotional and relatable for me since im moving away from my childhood home soon ?

    I’ll miss it. And I’ll miss this drama more than anything ??

  9. Aaaaah how do I move on from this? I’m gonna miss Ssangmundong and all of them. Reply 1988 was one hell of a rollercoaster. How do I move on from the loss of the people that do not even exist irl? Thank you to the creators and actors of this drama, you’ve created a masterpiece!

    2. Yes ikr like duk seon and jung hwan actually liked each other but if u see clearly duk seon never liked taek all this time she liked jung hwan how the hell did she end up together with taek
