Shima no Sensei

Other name: 島の先生 / Teacher on the island

Synopsis: On a small remote island there is an elementary school which has only 10 students. The students are transferred from Tokyo and other cities who refuse to go to school because of bullying or simply skipping. Here, on the island, they start a new life, surrounded by the warmth and care of the locals who are simple kind people. Their teacher, Chihiro Natsumura (Yukie Nakama), struggles to solve the problems her students have.
