Synopsis: Jiang Xue Ning was once a fallen queen who aspired to rule but was held hostage by rebels after the king, Shen Jie, was poisoned. Despite using everyone around her to gain authority, she was still placed under house arrest. Things took a turn for the worse when Xie Wei slaughtered the city and she was given a decree to be buried with the emperor.

After being granted a second chance to change her fate, Jiang Xue Ning wakes up and finds herself in the same situation as before. Despite her vow not to enter the palace, a series of events draws her closer to it and to Xie Wei, the one person she hates most.
