  4. Some people are so annoying. Dropping the show because “Sakae has more chemistry with his ex”? No sht Sherlock? That was literally the point of the show?? I admit the kissing and sex scenes and the little devilish smiles are oozing with chemistry, and I really really like the actors together. But sometimes y’all need to look past through the actors and understand the actual characters instead?

    Soga himself said “you two look good together”. He knows. He even said Mizuki is handsome with a wonderful smile. So Soga knows that Sakae and Mizuki is the ideal pair.

    But again, that’s the point of the story? Even if Soga is a boring dense unattractive old man, Sakae still likes him. Even if they have very different hobbies, Sakae still likes him. Even if Soga can’t give the same steamy kissing scenes like Sakae’s ex, Sakae still likes Soga. Even if they don’t look like the ideal pair with chemistry, they still like each other.

    Yes, Mizuki has more chemistry with Sakae. And so what? He’s also the guy who asked to break up for no reason, then later came back as if it’s nothing. He’s annoying and unserious in life like bruh the audacity??? You are not Kai from Perfect Propose omg.

  7. the audacity and entitlement of the ex and the fact that he doesn’t even realize what he did was wrong and just wants things to go back to how they were – had to take many deep breaths during this entire episode. also cool person x awkward person will always be a superior trope than what Sakae and his ex had. i love how you can really tell that once Sakae and Soga get together they will actually stay together & will have a better/longer chemistry/relationship than what Sakae and his ex had. can he like leave next ep and we can just see Sakae and Soga being cute 🙁

  8. A cliche plot, timely send in the ex to make a person jealous enough to re-evaluate what the other person means to him. This is common in most romance dramas. Unfortunately, the exes are always seen as the villains. I can’t think of any right now, but I am certain that many of you could recall some previous bl series with the same situation.

    In this particular series, I like Kanda-san who I initially thought would be a hindrance of Sakae and Soga budding relationships, instead she became their shipper. Previously, she aided Sakae setting up a thematic birthday surprise of Soga. Now, she coaches Soga. Love her. 🫶

    It is funny they casually converse about their daily dilemma at the bathhouse totally unaware of Mizuki’s presence. 😆

    🥵 Mizuki is a cute and mischievous guy, adding fire steam to the sauna then blasting hot air at the boys. Sigh…thinking of how my friends used to prank each other in our younger days. 😅

    💋 In the end, ex aside and no bs. Just kiss ✔️ 👈 substituting ✔️ for Nike logo 😅

  12. i have never dated anybody but if i date a guy in the future and he lets his ex stay over regardless of any reason we are over. like no explanation whatsoever. life is too short to waste time and effort in someone like that.
