The Divine Protector: Master Salt Begins (2022)

Synopsis: The occult club at Kamono Girls’ Highschool in Tokyo holds a ritual ceremony at 7:07 PM to summon “Master Salt”, a divine protector, to help one of their members, Nanako, who has been experiencing unexplained incidents. Using purified salt, they draw a pentagon and a circle and burn a sealed envelope with a wish written on it. Suddenly, a mysterious woman in a hakama appears with a gust of wind – it is Master Salt. She identifies the spirit behind Nanako’s curse and repels it. After this, Nanako and her friends seek Master Salt’s help to remove curses that bring misery to others. They discover that many people in this world curse others, including a con artist who preys on the elderly, a domestic abuser, and a professor who suppresses students’ spiritual beliefs. People start seeking Master Salt’s help one after another. Eventually, the occult club members uncover a secret scandal involving the son and successor of Tendo Group
