Su is literally the other Prince’s tutor, we know that Consort is an instigator with the position debacle, we know Su is gathering future officials to his side which he didnt care about before and he took over a position that wasnt previously his.   5. Now things are becoming so serious as it seems we now have clear enmities between Mr Su and the couple vividly being played out and everyone knows it🤷🏻‍♂️
    He is planning for his tutee the young prince to start taking higher position which he is not yet capable of to prepare him for the future showdown, and even his mother knows her son is not capable but they are both scheming again the other prince, Chuan, their father, the princess and her consort!

  7. Su is describing himself and his situation. This dude harbors evil intentions. In first life, he is a home wrecker. In his second life he thinks he’s a good guy trying to not only be a home wrecker but incite treason with Cheng.
    In his second life, he’s changing his habit of pursuing Li Rong instead of being passive.
    His innate nature is evil and full of self importance.

    The princess is stupid-dumb when it comes to him. Why isn’t she telling Pei her suspicions of his returning to his second life. Pei can sus him out if she was a better sharer and communicator. She dumb with a side of stupid.

  9. Consort Rou will help in the downfall of Su I think… the more Su thinks himself and rises the more reasons of downfall early is he attracting. Instead of saving his family he would ruin the Su family..
    Princess also knows how to counter, it’s interesting when the fight is among two powerful persons.

  11. I absolutely love the Princess’s quick mind and the Emperor’s Eunuch empathy for her. He is squarely on the Emporer’s side but he seems to have a fatherly soft spot for Pingyue. His face when she said I don’t want them to drive us apart…followed by saying he thought something more sinister was going on, leading the Emperor to Consort Rou’s quarters. That was great timing.

    So Rongqing is now planning to give the Inspectorate office to Consort Rou? It’s amusing how he deceives himself into believing he is helping Rong and wants the best for her, but his controlling nature is becoming all too clear.

    I dislike that su ronqqing is just taking or stopping the good that pei wenxuan had in the previous life and taking overz At least mr pei always made new plays even with some knowledge of the old. You can see their difference there. Mr. Pei wins with broadmindedness.

    Aalso is it just me who wants him to go back together with the empress? Hope he doesnt die. Hope Li Rong and mr pei gets to save him.

    It’s just that the observatory with the stars was such a sweet gesture of lovers. I cant help but he sad theyve grown apart because of power.

  20. Honestly when Su RQ started plotting against Pei and the Princess I was just like let’s kill him and his family off already I’m tired. He’s so annoying and I genuinely can’t stand him. Also the emperor he really has to be suspicious of everyone and I know he has that second consort to balance the power of the empress and her family but how can he not see that he’s given the consort the confidence to think that her son can also be the crown prince and will do anything for it including killing him…These emperors always think that everyone loves them but in the end just cause their own demise. I hope the next episode has the Princess and Pei waking up and realising that they’re playing against someone else who knows exactly how the first game happened and get their sh** together

  21. This only proves that Su Rongqing regressed not to correct his regrets and mistakes but be the evil himself. With what he’s scheming now, surely he might lead his family to annihilation instead of saving them this time.
