  2. i love how most of the ppl who have watched this is saying the plot is not good but i disagree i think it has a nice story that after the episode you are dying to know what happens next. i havent seen the japanese version of this but overall this drama gave what it needed to give. and the actors really played their characters very well i can tell how they change emotions especially the male lead he did well in portraying the characters emotions you can tell by his facial gestures, he said himself that he enjoyed playing his character bc he was able to learn alot of acting styles through the character . i loved the chemistry of the two leads and yes ik its a tragic ending and they could have ended up starting over a new life if he did turn himself in but i think this version also helps since it really toyed w our hearts.overall a great drama to watch if u want to watch an enemies to lovers but w a hint of tragedy:)

    1. I think it is a masterpiece , both actors were best I ever seen acting in drama and I watch them all.. This was amazing , yet sad i watched it over a few times . best drama for me.. award winning one if it was in america or Canada Koreans did not take to the sister brother relationship but they were not related at all so why this drama did not go up there I do not understand. amazing drama .. and always will be..

  3. The Japanese version is much better!!! I can’t belive they changed the plot and made them friends and not real brothers, and then why they had to be killed?? In the Japanese version they were real brothers and the girl thought she is protecting her brother while she killed her real brother. if they had to be killed at the end at last it should have a good reason! after watching the Japanese version I was really really sad but I thought wooow it was a good drama but I wish it had a good ending. but now I think whyyyy this drama had to have such a sad ending??? there is not a good reason!!

    1. I just finished it and I don’t know how to continue life, no one, nothing warned me of this ending???
      I was told it was sad but the drama itself had so many sad scenes I though that is what they meant BUT NOOOOOO, take 16 episodes make us fall in love, break our harts- put it back together again and then its all gone , THAT IS ITTTTTTT WHYYYYYYYY

  8. Maybe they needed a larger budget and better writers to tell a more complete story. Character development is not good at all. The worst is *So Jung* What the hell was her purpose? The only thing I can see is that she was a character who showed up to give someone something to do which in just about every scene with her was EATING & DRINKING! This was terrible (imo) IVE NEVER BEEN A FAN OF SHAKESPEREAN style storytelling, from Shakespeare or anyone else!
