I loved the ending, despite nokdu not being the king, I loved it, Its what theyve been wanting to have, a normal life, he never did want the throne, he only wanted to find himself, it was obvious the whole series, he was just wanting to find who he really is. I’m overall satisfied with the ending, them going far away and living together, its just peachily perfect I guess

  3. Am I a little late to write an opinion? …still, I think that, it’s great once in a while to have an “actual plausible” ending. Just because you think it should be doesn’t mean that it’s actually going to be. I think the director and whoever is in charge of writing the story did a great job. As someone who is a strong believer in destiny myself, I’d like to believe that the cause of all this mess was the king trying to find out what the ‘future’ held. He could easily have not let that prophecy blind him so much to the point that he decides to kill his own son, thinking that that’s the surest way to keep the throne. If the heavens want it, then indeed the heavens will have it regardless of what obstacles you decide to put in the way or remove…
    Great drama!

  6. A little disappointed with the ending. I was expecting Nak Do to lead and be a great king! Throughout the episodes, the director led us to believe that the king would change and would let his son take the throne for he was weak and regrets all the things he’s done. Maybe it was just me. LOL. Also, I wanted the prince to get punished! I would recommend it though.

  7. I don’t know why I’m not satisfied with the ending. Somehow I was expecting a different ending but it’s alright. I would recommend it.

Most ridiculous ending ever….nokdu was the One who faced all the pain and misery caused by the kings want of having the throne for himself he went So far to make sure he is dead and caused all the bloodshed…. And all the sacrifice made by lord Heo too make the world a better and safe place for Everyone….because as per the story prince was no better person then king…. So seems like everything goes into vain…. Story has lost its purpose…and I’m very dissapointed.

  9. I was immersed to the story that I see myself crying.
    But one thing I have learned. No matter what situation we may face in life. To stand in the truth would always make us happy at the end.

    The pain would not lasts long. But a new beginning will always awaits us.

    Greediness does not make us happy. To earn a power to make someone miserable is not a option. Indeed, love and forgiveness we should earn to apply. These way, we could live a peaceful life.

  10. I love the whole story. An output of a genius mind. Kudos! to all team especially to Nok du, Lady Kim, I really love the way he/she acted… You are phenomenal! I keep on looking at him/her.. Feels like I like him.?..

  11. I know that everyone around goes absolutely ga-ga over the peachy happy ending we received and I have to clear it up right here and right now – I don’t have any problem with happy endings, no matter how far-fetched they are. And yes, I was yearning for one as well as all the rest of viewers.
    Yet I don’t want my intelligence and common sense to be insulted and thrown away so obviously in the process, thank you very much you welcome.
    Because for 30 previous episodes the drama makers mostly avoided falling in this trap to my immense delight and that’s why the absolute sold-out of this clear principle in episodes 31-32 (mostly 32) felt such a disappointment.
    Nokdu and Dong Joo are behaving like 12 years old teenagers, jumping around like cute bunnies, sharing some light kisses here and there, with the acting level of school drama theater. Not a trace of drama we enjoyed till now, not a single evidence of the spiritual growth both had to go through and all the pain they endured to survive and deserve finally the happiness they are so dumbly basking in now.
    It’s a gooey-phooey-dopey-dovely nonsense, which betrays both the characters and the drama as a whole.
    I absolutely loved the series so far and was really moved by their beautiful and moving love story – it’s a true delight worthy of your precious time.
    That’s why the last episode felt like a betrayal to those dear characters and more like the “debauch of happiness on steroids” just to please the fans. Sorry.

Every week I was waiting excitedly then now it is ended? it was extremely heart catching drama , I enjoyed watching it. … Nok Du was super pretty lady at the beginning and then handsome , but he was really more beautiful than any lady in movie. I kept watching his face carefully and find him so much beautiful oh I mean handsome?

  17. Words fail, but this drama has moved others aside to become my #1 choice. Siblings as actors? Mmmm, their love was so convincing, thru thick and thin, triumphant in the end. Writers, you gave us a stunning, moving, touching, emotional story! I still say Nokdu’s smile carried us thru!!
