  1. June 30 – September 15, 2024 (11:16 PM)
    ☑️The Trainee (8/10)
    Off Jumpol Adulkittiporn as Jane
    (January 20, 1991)
    Gun Atthaphan Phunsawat as Ryan
    (October 4, 1993)

So many BL series airing now with new couples/pairs… Since it’s September again… Wow, 2 years I have been watching BLs… From those series I watched, I missed the following tandems: MewGulf, BrightWin, OhmNanon, OhmFluke, BounPrem, JaFilm, MaxTul, JimmySea, ZeeNunew… For OffGun’s series, I like most was my first series I watched that starred them – “Theory of Love”…
What pairs I am forgetting… For recent couples, please give more projects/series to GreatInn (Wandee Goodday)

  2. I think we can officially add sizzy and nanon’s love score on the list of “what makes it a gmmtv bl”😂😂

I hate endings when the bl is soo good. Overall, it was a journey of every intern. Each was a main character in their own story. Interns to mentors! The story and everything was sooo good. I’ll definitely miss all of them a lot! 🥹🥹🥹🥹

But what I hate however, is the characters not talking to eachother while pursuing their dreams. It depicts having a relationship have a negative effect on your journey. Infact, what they should show is how they can have a healthy relationship through communication and supportive partner in the process.

  3. I loved this last episode with all of the interns(friends) becoming successful in their specified careers and getting to see them all get back together to celebrate Ba-Mhee and Tae getting engaged. However, there was one thing I didn’t like about today’s episode. Why in the heck did Jane just look at Ryan and then leave after P’Baimon came in and asked about Ryan’s mv idea being stolen by Nine.

  4. Off and Gun’s dramas are consistently lukewarm. This drama had too many unnecessary scenes, especially with the GL storyline situation, which took up so much more screen time from the main couple. Overall, I would rate it 6/10.

  5. The finale episode wrapped up well. It’s amazing how I could really feel the 5 years changes in everyone. The interns turn mentors. They have matured. Well, except Pah. Even Good Pick changed. It feels different when Jane walks through each department seeing the absence of those who he used to work with. Jo and Baimon are still there remnants of Good Pick.

You know it’s a happy ending when Jane reminds Ryan that they’re going house hunting. It’s not like Tae’s proposal to marry Bahmee, but it’s just as good as a wedding vow when they move in and live together.

Congrat to another happy ending of OffGun series.

  6. The series was good, but I’ve reached a point with Off and Gun where I expect more from them… They are both adults and I would like for them to give me something more mature… Dosen’t have to have NC but something more grown,…

  7. Words can’t describe how much I loved this show.
After watching Cooking Crush, I’d almost lost all hope in OffGun. But this show made me believe in them once again.

The directing in this show was phenomenal (I guess that’s no surprise, It was mostly about directing, especially these last episodes.). The actors were all great and I think good directing brought out their talent. I loved the slowburn, the way relationships were shown. I loved every single character (apart from the mains, P’Baimon was one of my favorites. He’s so SASSY 😂). I even loved the straight couple (I normally don’t like them in BLs, turns out it wasn’t because they were straight lol). I loved how it was light and sweet and very detailed. The jokes were well placed and never felt forced.

But although this show had many strengths, the highlight for me was the COLORS. Almost every scene was colorful with beautiful lighting. It was so pleasing to look at. My eyes had never enjoyed a show this much. 😍

my only complain is about Jane and Ryan’s relationship in the second half of this last episode. I think the problem was that they made the progress so slow that they lost momentum and the best timing for taking it a step forward. They should have shown Jane’s arc (quitting to go after directing) two episodes earlier so that they can fully convey their feelings about this separation. That’s why it was annoying for me how Jane just came back and they were back exactly where they were, while we all know what five years of separation without any contact can do to a love that was just starting.

but anyways. I loved this show (except the second half of ep 12) and really enjoyed it. I give it 9/10.

these two were so cute 😂😭 Pai became my fav character in these last two eps!

not me drooling over Sea in this scene 🤤🤤❤️ Was he always this hot?!

  8. Yes, checking off another bl from my very long, and somehow still growing list, despite almost the end of the year.
I loved how supportive Ryan was of Jane studying abroad. I wouldn’t have been so calm. I mean 5 years? Are you kidding me? That’s a long fvcking time.
The five years later scenes was also really cute. I loved how Bahmee, Tae and Judy were working together and were friends, I loved how Tae proposed to Bahmee, I loved seeing where the five friends were in the future and how they’ve grown and I especially loved seeing Jane also come out of Jo’s shadow and follow his dreams.
Was a decent watch, started out kinda boring but what it lacked in the first episodes it made up for in the later episodes.

  9. So I’ve been thinking about Jane’s whole stance of not explaining himself first and then having Ryan be the one to ask him and then there’s the whole not explaining himself to the company (I’m sure he talked to Jo and even Baimon privately) and I think I got it.

I agree with wanting him to explain himself without being prompted. However given what we’ve seen of the environment he’s worked in, there are people, who, are ready to jump the gun every time they feel something is at fault with him without even asking him what’s going on. Ryan might have felt at first that because he was an intern that the gap between him and Jane in questioning him but Jane himself wanted to bridge that gap by putting the ball in Ryan’s court first. And also this is to show, that if you’re upfront instead of going behind his back, he will be upfront with you. Yes he did that one temporary job for that ex but even Jane makes mistakes. I’m sure any of them could’ve made that mistake of trusting that person because they’ve all worked with that thieving b*st*rd person before.

    ……………………………………………

But also just to add, loved seeing the friend group in their new roles, still being friends. Loved seeing Jane visit his old work place and somehow not seeing any of the gossip-mongers working there anymore. Although I’m sure it was sad to know that some good people probably resigned or moved on to other jobs elsewhere (who knows).
    ………………………………………………

Other things I loved: Tae proposing to Bahmee and Jane being extra flirty with Ryan.

Things I didn’t like? Well, let’s just saying I’m reading through posts and nodding at stuff. I’ll leave it at that, lol.
