  1. Well this is awkward… Am I supposed to root against Gicheol? If yes, then why did they create such a compelling character arc for him? This man got a better story in half an episode than “good protagonists” get in 16 full eps. Also, sure he’s a pimp, a drug dealer, and a murderer, but he’s also a loyal friend and a young man with a business plan going against the market bigwigs. If you take the criminal aspect out of it, his story is inspiring!

  4. Don’t people ever get sick of violence? I have never seen such an astonishing quantity of grotesque violence in so many productions. It boggles the mind and can’t possibly be good for those watching it, to say nothing of those creating it!

    3. I agree. Somehow the recent dramas are super violent. I’ve watched kdramas since the beginning and it’s my first time seeing two severed heads in just one week while watching kdramas ?
