So glad I got to watch this show after having to endure the total BS that was Until We Meet Again
wohooo finally they are together… i spent half the episode wondering if he texted his dad back or not ๐คฃ
๐ The happy ending is here. ๐
It was not entirely cringy, but it was kinda awkward speaking sweet words to each other. ๐
๐ซถ I love the romance dance around each other and the slow pace around the room before their sensual makeout.
Dad made an unexpected appearance and was more lively in this last episode. ๐
In the end everyone has his happy ending.
First song he sang~~~
ME: Isn’t this bed friend ost?!!
I’m still a bit turned off with Achi from last episode so I didn’t fully appreciate whenever his face is on the screen, but the NC scene is nicely done (just like the last one).
I like the side characters this episode. Ki and Peh not agreeing with helping Achi right away, Ji’s father supporting both his son’s love life and him finally getting up from the sadness of losing his wife, the manager apologizing to Achi. I wish they had a more creative way of Song discovering Ji’s relationship to Achi tho.
I’m just so mad at what they did about Ki and Gumbie story. Same with Song and Peh. They really wasted two really good couple chemistry. I wished they spent more time building up and setting a nice conclusion on the actual side/supporting characters, rather than medical related extras.
The production is good, very very good actually at some specific scenes, but the script could be a whole lot better/organized. Still, it ended nicely~ This felt like a long journey, but looking at it, 8 episodes is still “short” in Thai BL series standards. ๐
I’m not quite sure this felt like a good pay off for the weeks of annoyance this show gave me but it was alright I suppose lol They are cute together as I knew they would be. The NC scene was nicely done again. I really liked how he pulled the jacket off him and the prolonged eye contact slow walk after. I do wish they had carried us into the bedroom with them but that’s just me being a perv๐ ๐คฃ
I’m glad this was way less dramatic about the outing of the relationship than City of Stars was. I could NOT deal with that stress again so soon. When the photo of them leaked I legit paused the video and had to take a breath for the clusterf*ck I thought was coming dwl. It’s definitely less realistic but better for my blood pressure๐
Not sure what was the point of the second couple though. They gave them zero time this episode so I basically forgot about them๐คทโโ๏ธ
And that’s a wrap. Good little series, that had an actual storyline, which was told well. No unnecessary side stories that didn’t go anywhere. Not infested with “funny” sound effects – or underestimating audience by over explaining everything. All of which is a huge plus from me. Those – a lack of a better word – NC scenes were tastefully done and boys seemed comfortble which each other. From technical perspective, production quality was good.
So – Well done. Nothing exceptional, but well made series that had more mature approach to the genre than most Thai series do. Won’t be a future classic, but a good job nevertheless.
