  2. Soo Jin is the perfect example of how abuse breeds abuse. Being a victim doesn’t mean that you might not pass on what happened to you to others, in fact, it’s the main reason abuse cycles and passes on in families. That’s why it’s so depressing that everyone who watched this thinks that she deserved to be hit by her dad. No one deserves that. She deserves to understand that she’s incredibly damaged and in need of serious therapy and to realize that she hurt people who would of or were there for her. Han Seo Jun had it spot on when he said you destroyed yourself. IRL she’d need to disown both her parents when she’s older and what should of happened is her mom should of called child services. The bystander is no better than the abuser, in some ways, they’re even worse because they do nothing. I know South Korea and many countries don’t have good laws about that though. Most countries don’t handle child abuse well or in a way that gets the kids out and into a better place.

    Everyone thinking she suddenly deserves the abuse is entirely missing how people become jerks and abusers in the first place. It’s perpetuating the cycle. It’s people thinking that there is a clear line between victim and perpetrator with out realizing that victims learn maladaptive habits and abusive tactics in order to survive and when they don’t realize that they did that, they usually repeat the cycle. It’s like a disease.

    Coming from someone who had a bad childhood and when I grew up I realized how many pieces of me were broken. I realized how many behaviors I picked up in order to cope that are hurting others around me. It’s not an easy or non-painful thing to realize. The victim has a lot of work after they get out of the environment that perpetuates the abuse. And Soo Jin, much as I’m upset at her too, is still stuck in an abusive situation.
    She also likely started to like Soo Ho because he’s literally the ONLY person in her life that realized what was happening to her and showed that he cared. Even her mother is trash for being a bystander and putting up with her husband assaulting their daughter.
    Was what she did okay? Of course not, but that’s my point. You can be a victim and an abuser. They’re rarely mutually exclusive and if people could stop seeing the world in black and white, we’d have less abusers in the future. Abuse breeds abuse. It’s not a closed system and you don’t come out of it unscathed.

      1. I don’t think anyone deserves abuse she does wrong but it didn’t mean you can abuse her or say abusying is right she should have punished in other way but abusying a child is not right

  4. I get it that ju Kung is scared but why would a girlfriend ignore her boyfriend just like that …I really don’t understand it but why she had to ignore soo ho like that does she expect him to be there when he even doesn’t know where she is I really hate it when they make each others struggle

    1. It’s not just annoying, in real life that takes a huge toll on a relationship. Your partner is your trusted friend too. She’s showing a lack of trust by not going to him in a time of need for this long. It’s understandable at least the first time to just bolt because of emotions, but after that, she should of contacted him.

      Ju Gyeong is unfortunately very immature, both here in the show and in the manhwa. It takes her a long time to grow up and start being much more adult.

      I can’t even imagine having to belly ache over silly things like her stomach growling or wearing comfy pants at home and thinking it’s embarrassing. Imagine if people who are together spent so much time worrying about things that don’t matter or feel silly around their partner. It sounds so exhausting and mentally unhealthy to have to be concerned with like that.

  15. omg dis was such a sad ep so far. poor Jukyung I felt so sad for her but I was happy when her mom finally knew at least from now on her mom comforts her and I actually know support both teams because Suho is actually also great bf for Jukyung he cares for her a lot and loves her so much and Seojun I know we cant have dis couple in da drama but at least they had in the webtoon series and I actually have a feeling there would be a Season2 of dis drama cuz as I see in da preview its like the webtoon where Suho leaves Jukyung and goes to his father in the states and I noticed myself that I noticed that Jukyung actually looks pretty I didn’t even tell on the scene she was crying on the bus and her makeup actually got off and I thought it was still on her face so yeah she really is beautiful whether she has makeup or not she is truly an angel and I like her rly like her being strong and brave. 🙂
