  3. 😍 I finally get to see Ren and Lai Dayi together face to face. It may be too late in the series, but I have been shipping these two since ep.1. 🚢

    Typical of Ren a character who likes to boast of his ability. 😏

    Though Ren boasts, I kinda believe part of what he says about his boss’s innocence. 😅

    It’s time Liu Li steps up to support and protect his boyfriend in order to maintain a long relationship with Gu Jing. 🛡️

    So looking forward to the final episode next week. Liu Li vs mother-in-law, crossing swords. ⚔️

    the opening started so sadly, but then after that phone call becomes so hopeful, I couldn’t help but smile when Liu Li just jumps out of bed and runs out the door.
    Go get your man, baby!!!

    that was such a beautiful and heartfelt makeup/confession scene. But when Gu compared Li to home cooking that you never get tired of, I about lost it. Sooooo what a chef would say, sooooo sweet, and sooooo real!

    side note: when I was a little girl, I LOVED Shirley Temple, and one of my favorite movies was called the Blue Bird (of Happiness). This story stays in my memory as a magical and beautiful story. So when Li said that the blue bird is just a plain, ordinary bird, UNTIL it is by the side of someone who needs it, then it transforms into happiness, and he finishes with ‘I can be your bluebird.’
    I was both crying and smiling. I had to take a moment. :))

    when they landed on the bed, and Gu’s shirt was all unbuttoned, I was like go Li!! that was so smooth, we never even saw it. lol
    too bad they denied us the rest of it. 😆😆😭😭

    side note: I love the way Asians eat. Breakfast may consist of: waffles, donuts, bread, pound cake, croissant, eggs and ham biscuit, oh and SALAD. there’s almost ALWAYS salad at breakfast. lol. good way to get your greens in early. Although, must Japanese shows have soup included in their breakfasts, and only sometimes also include salad. LOL

    lovely matching bracelets AND rings that they MADE for eo! my gosh, hard to top that.

    and OHHHHHH how I needed all this light and fluffy, lovey dovey moments after all the stress of the other 4 shows. lol
    AND they are giving us an entire episode we can hopefully enjoy more of the same. yay!
