Nina and Cheng 😑 why did the writers even bother with these two if they weren’t going to develop their story and give them more scenes?? ohh, wooow, they touched hands at the very last episode then we never saw them together again!! ohhhh thank you writers 🤬🤬🤬🤬 Even the married couple had more scenes and story than them!!

2. it’s still kinda funny how everyone is surprised and shocked when they know the leads are dating, like hello??! are they that blind?? who sticks to his/her best friend from the opposite sex all day and all night without developing some feelings??? At some point i was thinking to myself, how come they’re not getting sick of each other? they’re talking to each other non-stop during the whole day!!

4. I loved this drama because everyone was likable and smart. Instead of the usual back stabbing tropes their great friendships were refreshing to see!

   I wouldn’t have minded extra episodes if they could’ve showcased more of the FL’s astuteness at work or the romance of the third couple!

7. I loved the drama. For once we actually get to see a relationship with the same energy from both parties. The base of their friendship and how they allowed things to flow naturally was refreshing to watch, a bit slow paced but I love it, plus I love the ML too. No forced or extra labour to get any of the parties to fall in love, they were just being themselves towards each other.

8. I feel totally baited by Cheng and Nina storyline 😅… wish they had more screentime to grow further, but at least its heading in a great direction. Feng and Yanan remains a cute couple to me, their dramatics and silliness makes them entertaining, but they were comic-relief and not made use of since they also had a transition from friends to lovers (a wasted plot opportunity, imho). For Yang and Shiyan, their relationship was already quite beautiful and special from the very start, so their journey to love and happiness together as a couple was a heartwarming process 🥰~

   As far as the main storyline goes: not gonna lie, I can only blame myself for setting my expectations high; but it took a dip in the middle for me and barely recovered at the end. Slow-burn plots are never an issue for me, but I really didn’t enjoy the writing for their love transition (it was basically the same nostalgic prose they exchanged all along, which isn’t bad, but i felt it called for more) and then there was the lazy approach to rely on a series of uncanny interruptions to stretch the transition itself. It was quite absurd, considering that just before they were never experiencing this and spent heaps of time together alone uninterrupted. This stood out to me in a not-so-good way. But honestly there were so many other great moments outside of the lead storyline that it remained interesting to follow everyone as it aired, since all the actors did a great job.

   Overall I had was a great watch, but honestly, I don’t see myself rewatching this one. I’d still give it 8.2/10 for what it recovered in the last few episodes, as they remained unbelievably adorable to watch together till the end ♡

9. such a lovely drama love the storyline of the 3 couples in this drama. by far this is wang yuwen’s best romance drama and the most proper kiss from her I’d say the chemistry of the main couple is top notch 🙌
