I’m finding it very difficult to keep watching this drama because I just can’t stand how everyone coddles the mother instead of holding her accountable when she selfishly butts in where she shouldn’t. After YZM specifically asked her not to bother Huan at the hotel, she still does. Instead of calling her out on it, Huan sends her appliances to appease her????? WTF???

   She pouts and acts like a child when her kids take a stand. And, most of all, she’s very disrespectful to her husband, treating him like a nonentity.

   If they all end up living in that house together, I’m going to throw something at the screen!

2. WHY!! WHY!!! WHY would she go to her daughter’s job and embarrass her like that? Even after, YAO told her not to. she is such a stubborn mule. even after her talk with Huan, I know she hasn’t learned anything. she’s a repeat offender. it must be suffocating to have a mother like her.

3. Carrying such heavy bags with her, like her mother, father and uncle she doesn’t fit to manage anything until she do a bit cleaning in her family. She has to or gave up to the hotel or to discipline her family. If she cannot discipline her family , she should gave up to the hotel management. If she want to manage the hotel then she has to restrict her relation with her family. Anyway, the drama lost its quality and becomes annoying.

4. Im going to lose it… no i have lost it. SHE FINALLY TOLD HER OFF AND THEN SHE TURNED AROUND AND ACTED LIKE SHE WAS UNJUST?? CRYING ON THE PHONE LIKE SHE DAID ANYTHING UNTRUE??? As a manager of a grand hotel how can you expect to have any respect if all of your relatives are consistently undermining not only your efforts but those of your staff. The mother is a manipulative narcissist she turns everything into an attack on her but doesnt learn any lessons. “She used me to establish herself infront of others” SHE WOULDNT HAVE HAD TO IF YOU HAD JUST WAITED FOR THE MEETING TO END. Its all ‘because i care about you’ but really its because she wants to appear like she cares about you in front of others. And Chenghuan is so used to being a doormat for her mother that she feels guilty after every little encounter. Your own mother should not make you feel guilt?? Shes more like an abuser at this point.
   Also ive had this thought since the beginning who is the main character of this drama? Why is the outro from the perspective of an imperfect mother to her child. This drama is more about the shit gaslighty parenting of chenghuans parents than it is about her.
   I cant do this anymore. Not only are zao and huan being used as stepping stones for the mothers ego, but zhiming and now ziyi are sucking up to the parents and comparing her to ms zhang. Is the writer of this drama a narcissistic mother self inserting herself into the drama as a character and pretending its a romance? This drama would be 15 episodes long if the mother lived somewhere else. All of the plots are focused on the consistently horrible, inconsiderate, and frankly selfish decisions made by the mother.
   I GIVE UP. yet another unfinished Xu Kai drama, he really needs to learn how to pick a better script all of his dramas suck so badly.

6. woman has lost her senses…no common sense!! there is a business meeting and she just barges in to ask her to eat..y cant she supply for all! it her hotel but there is something she cant do! dint learn a bit from her relatives and police incident…again comes back to force on her daughter…but even FL was too harsh on her… it felt sad a bit but that complicated talk out later was ahhh! now the brothers trouble starts…that man is doing emotional blackmail to keep his ex in control…ziyu and zao would have been better..that kid lacks love of a family and his mom has all the time in the world
