  1. Whoa, this episode should have started with a big flashing TRIGGER WARNING! The writer really said “Screw this, let’s tackle both Korean epidemics in one episode!” I do hope they keep looking into these issues and don’t just use them only to make the plot move forward. Poor Park Shinhye must have thought that she was done with the school uniforms, but they pull her back in!

    And if someone told me in 2011 that out of all the boy idol groups, ZE:A would be the one to have not one, not two, but three members as leading men at the same time, more than a decade later, I would have collapsed from laughter! They have to have set a record for this, right? It’s usually one, or at most two members who go on to become successful after the idol group disbands. Especially if the idol group was mostly considered a flop back then (despite them having some serious bops!). My mind is seriously blown by this!

  6. To all those who are driven towards a goal, just make sure whenever you get tired to give or take a moment to breathe and to take care of yourself when life gets crazy. Very emotional 1st starting though. Here’s to another healing drama😌.
    Its been over 10 years since heirs and Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye still look stunning.

  8. I think I have to stop believing the trailers.
    Like, everytime I hope to see a relaxed slice of life, they hit you with start like this. But don’t get me wrong. I loved the premiere. Hyung Sik is there, then I am present!
    To me it seems he was used as a scapegoat. Like he was just caught in the middle of a gang fight!! Hopefully, he recovers from the slump soon.
    Rivals to lovers to enemies to strangers to lovers trope!!! Bring it on!
    P.S. Have I ever mentioned how much I love cherry blossom scenes?? 😍😍

  9. I’ve been waiting so long for this drama. Park Hyung sik and Park Shin Hye are finally back after so long.
    The first thought I had after seeing the teasers/trailers of this drama was that Park Hyung Sik is looking so different from his recent dramas (much slimmer). Not that I am complaining. I love watching Park Hyung Shik no matter how.

    Also academic rivals to lovers arc had got to be one of my favourites. Super excited for this!!!

  10. 1. People are here for different reasons, for actor or actress or plot. Of course I am here for all, but main reason is Park Shin Hye has captured me from her role in “Doctors”. She just shines.
    2. The trailer was so relaxed and chaotic but the start is depressing, what’s with this.
    3. I haven’t watched medical drama in long, so I am excited.
    4. Hope there won’t be much hospital politics.
    5. EXCITED. That’s all.

  13. this anesthesiologist is definitely sus….the way he just nodded his head and didn’t say anything made me suspect him that very moment….

    and I think the local anesthesia he asked for, were probably the anticoagulants which someone planted there, possibly the anesthesiologist, or it could be that the patient was taking anticoagulants and she died because of that….

    but one thing’s for sure, someone designed this incident to drag him down, the cctv not working at that moment is the proof that its intentional….

  16. Thank goodness we have JTBC for normal dramas. I hope we leave behind the trend of past lives/reincarnation in 2023. Even medical dramas have become a rarity these days.

    The vibe here is very similar to You Are My Spring, the angst and the mystery, but I expect it to be more comedic later on. Park Hyung-sik looking skinnier here. Pre-military Hyung-sik? Although i didn’t like Sisyphus, Park Shin-hye’s acting had definitely improved in that drama. Hoping to see the same here!

I just hate this thing in dramas and movies when someone has clearly fallen and isn’t able to get up in the middle of the road and people just pass by as if they’re blind….not a single person came to help her or asked he if she’s ok while she was there and cars were passing by….and as soon as a vehicle was about to run her over, everyone came running and started to stop the cars from going by…. 🙄🙄

  26. Another dumb FL. What is this trend in K-drama? About him , I don’t know, was it his mistake or somebody set him up? But still it is a big achievement , plastic surgeon to kill his patient. And victim family will go now after him, and they are no joke. I guess he lost his medical license too.

  28. I wonder if he is the reason why she ‘slightly’ messed up in her exams. He seems defensive about her and is avoiding her, too. Was it a dirty trick or did they have a thing and it distracted her?

  33. Looking at his lawyer with an uncertain look when asked by the prosecutor to take the stand. Fire your lawyer for not anticipating this and not prepping you for it. Actually the writers chose the low hanging fruit.
