1. Watched till the very end. ..not bad 7/10 for me. Great props. ..storyline was a bit weak. ..first one with former Emperor dragged on a bit and she didnt seem to play a significant role, other than she was a concubine that the Emperor could get rid of with no problems. She thought this was true love?! ..I feel her naivity made her fall for many tricks and placed her life at risk, including the death of her own children. I truly believe his Majesty truly loved her. ..so as the reason why he allowed her to replace him when he was ill. Other Emperors, including the former would never do that. ..but his Majestry gave her free reign. He was kind to her and refused to have any other Concubines …period. She was the one who encouraged him to take on that ugly killer at the end. However, his Majesty …sacrificed a lot to be with her, keep her in the palace and free reign to be the boss. Obviously …this made everyone mad and jealous.

   The funniest part was the loser CP at the end …died laughing at his character and responses. ..and she was right. .no use having a puppet Emperor, when she was doing a good job. I felt she loved his Majesty to the very end. …and it was him who changed (after relationship with that evil chick) and was always doubtful of Wu (from rumours and her strength). It was nice to see them together at the end watching the fireworks.

   Great movie. ..cant believe it was banned …and can anyone tell me if there was a follow up drama after her reign? Who took over after her death? Would be interesting. I know very little abt Chinese history but these dramas do shed some light on prior Royal dynasties im China which is really educational, interesting and sooo fun to watch. Thank you for the uploads ??
