  1. Great work, Subbers and your response time is awesome! Thank you!

Interesting development in the story line. Is it worth watching? I think so, yes. But, we are watching the destruction of a valuable, caring, thoughtful, intelligent human being. It’s a weird feeling. First, all credit to the actors who are brilliantly portraying the different psychological states of these individuals. So, my comments are about the character, not the actor!!

So far, we’re seeing the underhanded destruction of a good doctor. First, the wife, who does not tell her husband until she vomits on their wedding night, that she might be pregnant. Yet, her question to him is accusatory, “do you love me?” The problem is, he did. But, he never asks her the same question. Then she verbally accuses him of not being with her during her time of childbirth. OK, that’s a good point, but she misuses it and he knows it. She’s definitely super emotional, however, they are on parallel emotional paths. At one stage she threatens to give away the innocent baby. Is she for real?!! (No! Just an excellent actor!) Then, she somehow blames him for her dad’s turn. And, for some reason the hubby does not defend himself. In a marriage, they do need to “clear the air,” be honest, defend themselves. Or, Cdramas like this develop!!

Then, there is the psychologically immature, bullying, jealous doctor, goodness knows what his bedside manner is, that loves to cause trouble and pick on people. What a d-bag. Anyhow, he’s too busy feeding his immature ego to worry about patients. But, he’s hell-bent on destroying the doctor. He’s totally warped.

Then, the playboy/boyfriend who “loves” his girlfriend so much that he ignores everything she says. That’s the most major clue to his mental age!! “Spoiled brat!” He is so busy with developing his own work, that he interferes in her work day, and then tries to manipulates her into some kind of commitment. So much for respect. And, if he really has a PhD, then why is he not using it to help the community? Still, I like his car.

In summary, this Cdrama is very good, and probably has a strong educational component in there somewhere! The Director is skillful in his/her development, so yes, as much as I hate watching a human being destroyed, I know that it will somehow work out.
