Synopsis: Cho Yeo Hwa has been a widow for 15 years and her in-laws come from a prestigious noble family. During the day, she follows a quiet routine and never leaves her home. At night, she sneaks out to provide help to those in need. While doing so, she meets Park Soo Ho, a senior officer who is adept at his job and attractive. As Yeo Hwa and Soo Ho start to get to know each other, she begins to imagine what her future could be.

  1. my gosh!!! this series is fantastic. I laughed so hard as I binge watched all 4 episodes. this FL is so much fun. Her practicing how to graciously step out of the palanquin had me in stitches… the horror film reference was gold hahaha

  4. I’m only on Ep. 1, so I am wondering about the possible relationship between Su Ho and Yeo Hwa. Based on the info I’ve gleaned from the comments, I’m almost wondering if Su Ho is her nephew. He had a father who taught him how to use a sword. Something happened to that father 15 years ago. And something happened to Yeo Hwa’s brother 15 years ago.

    FYI, I have no problem with the age difference between an older woman and a younger man. We don’t when it comes to older men and younger women. (Hello, Song Hye Gyo and Lee Do Hyun!) It’s rarely ever a discussion, so it’s about time for the reversal.

  6. Been reading the comments. Am I the only one who noticed and felt in the episode 5 preview where the other widow was hugged and seen with a man and SooHo mistakes the widow the man was seen with while questioning him for YeoHwa. The next episodes gonna bring a little drop of jealousy I think

  10. I still wondering what this drama is about 🧐 At the moment it feels a bit disjointed and I wonder which direction is going to take. I love the FL character, she is a female Robin Hood, and her actions are so moving like condemning herself to a life of misery at the hands of his evil mother-in-law for the sake of her maid – with all reason, her maid is adorable and so smart. I am rooting for both of them. Then is the ML, great performance by Lee Jong Woon I love his face, is almost like a painting. I just want to see clearly how all these pieces are going to make a whole and wholesome storyline.

  13. Excellent, excellent drama! It has everything – lead actress is hilarious – side kick servant is perfect – great chest on male lead. Great story line, funny, heated attraction happening. Also covers social issues well – women’s issues well. What’s not to love?

  16. I’ve been waiting for this to come out. MBC lately has been on a roll with their weekend mini series, so I’m very optimistic of this one as well, especially with the veterans/experienced actors we got here(Lee Ha Nee, Kim Sang Joong, Kim Mi Kyung, Jo Jae Yoon, etc). Personally very curious of Kim Sang Joong because the only thing I’ve ever watched with him in it is the crime TV show he hosts on SBS(“Want To Know”) but I’ve heard great things about him.

    I imagine there are many that have been waiting for Lee Jong Won to return as well(his last major project was MBC’s “The Golden Spoon” from 2022, so well over a year at this point).

  17. Its been hella long since I felt this interested in korean period drama and smiled through whole trailer! Female lead looks fun to be around, strong and precise while she is also a lil bit silly *-* thats sound just like my kind of female lead<3
    Also the way it shows both serious & comedy genre at same time. I hope whole thing will be as good and interesting as trailer.
