  13. Yeo-Hwa should have read Joseon’s equivalent of the “Art of the Deal”, then she would not have forked out 500 nyang for that girl. First, find out the outstanding debt of her dad, then bargain from there. Instead she and that fool officer tried to outbid each other and she ended paying probably way more than the outstanding debt. 500 nyang is a lot of money and is worth anything from 1.5m to 12.5m won in today’s currency. Fools!

    I enjoy the parts that YH plays when she goes out in the night revenging for other people. It’s seriously entertaining and for the fact that the ML is always there too, make the fun double dose👏🏽

  16. When she left him a shoe, I thought he’d look for her cindereIIa-style. Hahahah. But the painting of the tiger turned to cat omg HAHAHAHAHAAH. The Minister of Finance is such a scum but the actor is great. Lol. Kim Hyung-mook and Hanee acted alongside each other in Fiery Priest. Hope we’ll get to see their characters interact more in this drama.

    I also wonder what’s the king up to? I might have missed a few details in ep1. But seems like he’s just pretending to be a puppet king in front of the officials except his friend. FL’s father-in-law seems to be nice to FL for ulterior motives. And based on the knife, it’s clear that Pil Inn’s owner was the one that killed ML’s father. But I’m worried for Myungdo Inn’s boss. Since she said she intends to hand over the business to FL, I worry that she might be killed and that leaves FL no choice but to take over Myungdo Inn eventually.

  24. Everything is good and fine but why almost every widow’s husband in historical drama that I see dies before or on their wedding day/night. This is the same case with almost all previous dramas which had a widowed female protagonist. The only reason that comes to mind is that they want to keep the virginity of the woman intact. They want to sound all progressive but want to cater to the at large as well. I find it really problematic how woman sexuality has to be within the confines patriotic gaze, in real and reel life both..

So look I love the little brother..but like will this be a cougar situation ..I seriously thought the older brother will be in the picture..will this be some type of Love triangle situation..I mean the older brother in all his dramas he never got the girl …I always felt bad for his characters
