  1. Holy s***! The twin plot twists of this episode! The previous King’s death was a huge conspiracy: The Finance Minister’s wife got the poison to off her husband but she gave it to the her aunt the Queen instead. The queen and the Left Minister offed the previous King. And that Pil guy is the illegitimate son of the Queen’s sister and a servant. And he was also a butcher which is BAD in Buddhism. So the King is related to a guy like that. What a scandal! Now the question is: Did the husband fake his death to escape his marriage or something OR did his father send him away because he did something bad? His mother doesn’t know obviously. Also, I’m glad that no widows or servants had to die during this episode. F*** your “Confucianist values” if you’re going to treat people like that!

  9. Is the new guy the husband? My guess is he ran way before the wedding so they declared him dead.

    OR

    Maybe their son was dead long before the wedding.

    They just wanted YH in their family to make sure they know if her brother comes back. As the saying goes, keep you friends close and enemies closer.

    Either way, they wanted FL to be in their control.

  10. the moment she mentioned her son, he appeared, is he her son or is he Yeo Hwa’s brother???

    cz if he’s her son, then Yeo Hwa isn’t a widow and she can’t be with the Inspector….

    did the son run away from the marriage and faked his death, or did his family declare him dead cz he ran away, so they can control Yeo Hwa to get the Chastity gate??? I hope its her brother, it would be so unfair to her and the inspector if the husband appears now out of nowhere….
