  1. (spoiler)
tbh i find it ridiculous that day broke it off over that. I agree he has every right to be upset with mhok, but to go as far a breaking up with him, is a bit eyerolling.

  2. Well it’s official they are toying with us now, right at the end. ๐Ÿ™„
They provided both Day and us the lottery, and made us all lose the ticket.

Seriously, this episode and preview for next week’s finale, gave me those Tale of 1000 stars vibes from P’Aof way of doing plot twists like this. I remember commenting here that knowing it’s one of his works, it would probably end with the main leads separating for a while an reuniting somehow. Sucks that is at the final episode that all happens. Most start in a rollercoaster of emotions and end up in a rush of events. I hope we could be spared from this, but the characters’ journey is a different story. After ups and downs, it got to this.

We’ve been too focused on Day, that we also forgot that Mok was imprisoned when he lost his sister Rung. He never got to answer her final call, because he was busy that night and end up ignoring it thinking it wasn’t a big deal. Taking what and who he had for granted. And ever since then, that guilt has been weighting on his mind and heart. He blames himself for causing her final decision. He never got help didn’t he? No support other from Porjai, or any professional therapy help either, nothing, he simply buried all of it inside, denying reality, turning bitter against the world until he met Day who managed to change his perception and warm his lonely heart.

That unsettling fear of making the same mistake, however, never truly left him. He assumed full responsibility as a caretaker not only for Day, but indirectly he needed that second chance to assume a role because he felt bad on failing to care for his own sibling. Seeing Night and Day’s situation probably reminded of himself. He didn’t pity Day, he has always been the one giving him strength and when others point out his disability Mok is the one pointing out Day as a person, the blindness comes second. But this fear robbed him of being able to trust in Day, upon seeing how independent the other is. Mok is in his right to fear this, as he is finally facing his fears. What upsets me is that while Day is going through these health struggles, and feeling hurt that Mok lied to him, and upset because he could be hindering Mok chances and become a liability, which he never wanted to become, he still has his mother and brother and close friends to help him out and be supportive of him.

Who does Mok have? Porjai had Mee and moved out to live with her mother. He is alone now and Day ends things just like that. ๐Ÿคจ Not giving a chance to talk, no time to settle… Rung reached her limit and a tragedy happened. Mok had a mental breakdown now. Glad he manages to turn his life around. Maybe it’s what Day also wanted despite regretting… but still what BS is this. Even Night was speechless and probably wanting to go after Mok.

Now we will see both of them thriving next week, but apart until they manage to meet again. And hopefully now both at a better mental and health space they can start again. Also on another note, where is Porjai and Night sweet content at. Is this it? No dating? Or are they doing it in secret ๐Ÿคญ like two teenagers hiding their obvious crush from their peers. ๐Ÿคฃ

  3. I dont know how people see character development for Day.. he is still very selfish to me.

It’s fine that we agree to disagree here but man every episode Day has done something to warrant a few slaps from me.. ๐Ÿ™„ I was all DID DAY JUST MAKE IT ABOUT HIMSELF AGAIN AND COMPLETELY IGNORE WHAT MHOK SAID WITH THE PRETENSE THAT IT WAS BEST FOR THEM??? DUDE WHAT??? nah ima slap u.. Day didn’t even try to see it from Mhok’s POV, he just immediately made it about himself.

  4. I am disappointed that people are so openingly discussing the preview. I purposely don’t watch them, but now I know what might happen.

Another young actor who is going to be able to put on his resume, acted scene with Jimmy P. His look afterward was, “damm he’s hot”.

  5. It’s refreshing to see a character like P’Mhok. Looks, personality, talent… What does he not have.
Through out the show, he’s been only kind and understanding. Extremely selfless at times. Even though, he had been dealing with his own struggles and traumas. He was the best therapist, the best friend, the best care taker. He’s not a green flag but the whole Amazon forest.
Once again, very likeable character unlike other bls that glorify toxic main leads, we saw none of that coming from P’Mhok.
Fell in love more & more episode by episode.

Hope it has a good ending and the breakup thing doesn’t last long.

  6. ๐Ÿ‘ This episode is very important for Mhok to realize his limitation for caring for Day while he works.

๐Ÿ˜จ First, he panicked when he heard that a guest got injured.

๐Ÿ˜ฐ Mhok couldn’t get a hold of Day on the phone b/c Day was in the bathroom. So Mhok has to ensure who got injured.

๐Ÿ˜ฐ Mhok had another panic when Day had left without taking the phone or notifying him of his whereabouts.

๐Ÿ’” It’s heart broken on both Mhok and Day who love and care very much for the other. Thus, Night will have to accept his mother’s wisdom.

๐Ÿ˜ข Day’s conversation with Mhok early in the episode was a foreshadow.

๐Ÿ˜ข It’s like a bitter pill to swallow knowing that they had to say this to one another. ๐Ÿ’ฆ

  7. “Do you think I’m silly that I’d prevent my son from dating…”

    Bish๐Ÿ‘You๐Ÿ‘Took๐Ÿ‘Away๐Ÿ‘His๐Ÿ‘Phone๐Ÿ‘
    ……………………………………………………………..

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out why Day did what he did at the end but it was based on a flawed logic and was unnecessary and cruel. Yes, it’s also Mork’s flawed logic that he blames himself for his sister’s death but Day could’ve taken the time to tell Mork to not to blame himself for her passing away and that he will be okay. There’s a saying ‘Be cruel to be kind’ where you do or say something cruel to someone in order to help them – in Day’s case, he believes that breaking up with him would not hold Mork back. However in this case, it’s an utterly shitty way of treating him because he totally ignored that Mork’s decision is affected by his trauma but still makes it all about his own self pity.

  8. ****SPOILERS****

Although not the ideal outcome for the characters; I do think it makes for a stronger story that he didnโ€™t get his sight back.

For once the mum is right. She sized up the obstacles they would face pretty succinctly.

The obligatory breakup was sadly expected but I think it wasnโ€™t just about Day thinking that Mhok pitied him. If it was only that reason, itโ€™s likely Day would have gotten over it. I think what really led Day to make such a drastic decision was his desire to free Mhok from being burdened by him. The clue is in Day asking his mum if he did the right thing afterwards. Sure, itโ€™s annoying because the plot driven โ€˜Iโ€™ll break up with you so I donโ€™t hold you backโ€™ trope is tired and has never made any practical sense but thatโ€™s what the writers needed to happen in order for Mhok to find his own path and establish himself. Right in time for them to meet again years later and live happily ever after. Iโ€™m somewhat disappointed by this because it would have been nice to see a story where a blind character is able to go on a journey of self discovery with the person he loves right alongside him and for them to grow together as he learns to live a full life.

  9. As soon as I read “They are recruiting for a new restaurant in Hawaii”, it was obvious what was coming. Day reaction was not other from what I thought it will. Mhok could have tell the true, but he didn’t want to make feel bad Day, it was actually that was made him feel probably worst, his sacrifice for being with him, I read some comments and most of you guys are with Mhok now. I think both of them make wrong in one way or another. Even so, this decision should have been tremendous hard for Day, he is probably conscious that finding love again as a blind person will be probably impossible, but doing what he did, it would give freedom to Mhok of pursuing this huge opportunity. I can only say, that the most broken moment was when after years, Mhok and Day was on the parallel mechanic stairs and Day didn’t react, that was the most hurtful moment “this” episode in my opinion, the rest was expected as it happens… too sad…

  10. I did not see this plot twist with the surgery coming at all. Good Lord in heaven, I can’t keep crying every episode!

  11. In dramas I hate the most the scene writing AFTER 1/ or 3 / 5 / 10 YEARS ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž
