  2. so I was right, he didn’t kill her, and I was right that she died because of him….

    in the last scene I was like, so the writer is gonna go the typical path of “m leaving u because I love u”, but thank GOD for now it’s not happening and I hope it doesn’t happen…..

  5. “If we must sink into the depths of misery, I’d gladly do so with you” 🥹❤️‍🩹 😭That love story was so beautiful yet so tragic. I hated how it was such an unreasonable situation, yet somehow justified in that era.

    Maybe I loved you so much in another life and I promised I would find you. Maybe you were that missing chapter I knew existed but never knew the words too. Maybe being without you but holding onto a single hazy memory was my only consolidation. But what I do know is that I have felt for you for more than what one life should allow.

    The way he looks at her is filled with so much love and concern both then and now. The ending dance was so beautiful with all the butterflies coming of her dress, the music, and him saying: “I’ll give us a happy ending this time”… Writers you better!

    I am putting this at the end cause it is a repeated thought every ep: Her “family” is past needing help. I believe this is the first time a entire household (Noh Suk Min’s) is just so Neurologically Disrupted and Deranged. Sure the psychopathic dad dealt with his psychopathic son but literally in the worst way possible. Now the mom too is going insane, honestly felt pity for the lady. Not to mention the other problem of what deal her parents made with Gu Won and Madam Ju potentially being involved… Everything is becoming so messed up smh.

  13. The twist at the end is really good. I actually like that he’s somehow involved with the accident. It just adds another layer of misery they’ve been talking about.

  14. yes use that anger, kill him, destroy him, avenge your poor son. he didn’t deserve that. you were a bystander but now you can kill him, please do it. make sure hes burnt to ashes. PLEASE.
    oh god im so mad, i hate his character so much bloody hell.
    the kid didnt deserve that, he couldve lived a normal happy life, but he lived in agony every moment, till his tragic death.

  20. It was surprising for me to know that do do hee’s parents had signed a contract with him … I’m looking forward for the next episode because now I’m very curious that I can’t wait 😣…. The most interesting is that do do hee will be able to know about her parents accident which is related with him … 😩 Can’t wait for it..

What if that evil father’s son come as a demon cuz he too committed suicide and killed people just saying also if his mother being desperate cus she gets abused by the father too wishes and Gu won hears it and he makes a contract with her maybe I’m just writing my own kdrama here lol but who knows.

  24. Don’t telling me Do Do-Hee parents made a deal with Gu-Won in the past and he caused that accident in order to collect their souls…. Coz Do Do-Hee would never forgive him for that 😭😭😭
    Or maybe they made a wish for him to Keep her safe and that’s why his powers transferred to her after they met again.

  25. I’m glad we finally got more of their shared past life, and I’m really glad it didn’t go the way it looked in the last episode! Whew. But the end scene of this one makes it seem like tragedy is looping back around for our Do Do Hee 🙁

    also do dohee WHAT AN AMAZING PERSON YOU ARE ❤️❤️ gosh. writers please take note, this is how you make an independent strong woman character. smart, strong but reasonable and kind. not a pushover but listen to others with her heart.

    and lastly, madam ju’s family is getting more and more and more ridiculous as the story progresses. those “humans” are even more evil than the devil himself. it’s ironic really.
    even the devil chose his victims with lots of considerations and collected “just enough” souls to keep himself alive. but they’re really just be attacking one another because they kept wanting more. how can one do that to their own family? i remember during the first few episodes guwon mentioned that even devils couldn’t beat humans’ greed. and I get it now.

  37. oooh nabi! lol again! I think this is the third drama of Song Kang that has the butterflies somewhere lol maybe he likes them xD

    I wonder if the deal was with Do Hee’s parents or they were the collateral result of a deal with someone else? Gu Won doesn’t cause fatal accidents, he doesn’t do extreme cruelty, he takes the souls immediately, he doesn’t drag it. Why would they be in a car accident and why would he smile at Madam Ju? Because he couldn’t possibly have made a deal with her since he never went to pick her up and he didn’t learn about her death until he saw her gone. That’s another thing, what happens if say, the human chooses to take their own life or just have a fatality happen to them because such is the world, before their contract time is due? Does he still go to pick them up or does he do something there even? Maybe her parents made a deal to save Do Hee when she was a baby, like the mother of the little girl at the hospital did. I can’t help but think that Gu Won isn’t unnecessarily cruel, in fact, he shouldn’t do unnecessary harm, it’s on the rule book. He wouldn’t have caused an accident to collect the souls and he usually doesn’t pick them in pairs, his deals are one on one… So I wonder if maybe there was a third person in the car that caused Do Hee’s parents to be the fatalities.

    We still need to learn if the son actually killed himself or if the monster did. Are we going to see mom rebel? She’s terrified and looks like she’s been terrified all her marriage, so her son was a result of that… but what she said to him was completely cruel and horrible. I sure hope she rebels, becaus she shouldn’t be under his thumb anymore and if she so chose, she could be dangerous too… to him.

    One thing I find a little funny. Gu Won being a demon has to be the worst kept secret ever lol cousin knows, Jin Star blabbered her mouth so he confirmed everything, secretary lady knows because buttler Fork You lol blabbered his mouth. And I know these are all people from the circle of trust but still lol I find it funny, he’s a demon, oh yeah he’s a demon, powers, appear, dissappear lol everything normal lol

  38. Ms. Ju had an accident with Do Do he Parents and killed them, then Demon appeared and try to make a deal with her so that she can save them. But I think she rejected that deal and left them there dying. That’s why she is having a guilt because she had a chance to save them. She killed them not Demon. Why the hell he will kill both the parents. No chance

  40. Aiiiiiish 😒 The mothers in that family are a piece of work. How are you gonna use your child as a shield to velcro the abuse from yourself and then say it’s because you followed the rules and he didn’t. Bich, you know abusers don’t care if you follow their rules or not. They’re always gonna take it out on someone and you knew that. That’s why you sacrificed your son to him to save yourself.

    I actually can’t decide who is more evil in this drama. I genuinely cannot decide if it’s evil Mr Ju, this sorry excuse of a mother or dear old grandmother. Is it the one who started it all by neglecting and withholding love from her son? Is it the one who used her own son to soak up the abuse she would have otherwise been getting? Or is it the demon spawn who turned into a monster because granny never loved him. The competition is tight and says a lot that the evil one is not actually the devilwho is going around collecting souls.

  45. idk if anyone else noticed this but from the beginning its been staring us right in the face about who god is, the hat that she always wears, says ‘Good’, one of the o’s is significantly more faded than the rest, if you take that out you have ‘God’ !! maybe I’m reaching lmaoo but I thought this was a cool lil easter egg !

  46. No but wolsim and yisun’s relationship and ms shin and Mr park’s relationship literally radiates black cat and golden retriever energy which is so cute to see. As much as I despise dugyeong I can’t help but feel bad for him, he was deceived by both of his parents although he died I hope his mother will find justice for him and herself. Also if the god said that fate is suppose reoccur so that would mean that dohee and guwon probably won’t get the happy ending we are looking forward to. 😭😭😭😭
    So sunwol foundation was made in the memory of wolsim but as time passed guwon probably forgot the reason he made the foundation also I don’t know if you guys noticed but, sunwol = (yi)sun+wol(sim)

  49. What if the son’s drunk driving accident was what ended up killing Dohee’s parents, for which Madam Ju let him go to prison for. Although that scene of him reading the newspaper when she brings Dohee home may make this theory wrong.

    I’m still trying to figure out why his the killer the son hired had SUCH an obsession with Dohee, to the point of creating a paper wall tribute to her, unless it was just because he was mentally ill too, and it was his job to kill her.

    I know the main leads’ conversation in the car about the son’s username was important – destroyer of worlds – but I think I have to re watch it to get the point.

  51. I’ve kind of lost some of the plot as I took a break in between watching this show, but here are the loose ends I believe are still standing (if anybody knows that one has been explained, please lmk!!) :

    – son’s drunk driving accident
    – dad’s accident and the “apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” line
    – rash and cuts on the son, the hired killer, and now the mom
    – the obsession the hired killer had with DDH
    – situation between madam Ju and DDH’s parent’s accident
    – GW’s deal in the above situation
    – Madam Ju’s secret/guilt about knowing she won’t go to heaven (I feel like there was something more she hinted at when she was alive, I can’t remember)

  53. This started off pretty good but it’s getting annoying. Finally got a
    stable relationship yet they still feel the need to throw in a breakup,
    even amidst all the unfinished business. I really can’t
    stand Kdrama writers sometimes. Not to mention, Do Hee isn’t showing any
    of her promise from the earlier eps. “Devil in Hermes” my foot. She has
    a literal demon on her side and still hasn’t inflicted any damage to
    her ops. If I knew you could become a writer with this level of writing I
    would’ve studied Literature.

    I cannot understand why his parents treat him like that. Poor boy, he died without anyone asking what’s the truth. Feel bad for him at some point. 🥺
