1. This was, by far and away, the best drama of the year (which, unfortunately, is not saying much. This year has been very disappointing insofar as Kdramas are concerned)! The pace, screenplay, character development and interaction, and overall presentation of this were very, very good. One facet that I particularly liked was the introduction and development of the police officer and Min-Cheol–I thought that their position as enemies, one the Righteous Defender of Justice and the other the Not-So-Righteous Defender-but-on-the-wrong-side-of-Justice. Both of them are the first to realize what is happening, and both see revealing the “bad guys” for who they are through to the end, but in their own unique way. I am really glad that the writers did not make the police officer a petty person who insists on being spiteful toward Min-Cheol, but rather puts justice first. I love how they reconcile in the end. I think that that was one of the main underlying themes of the drama. Altogether, really well done! I am sick to death of revenge plots, superficial romance fluff, etcetera. This was strangely refreshing!

   1. I agree to you that’s so touching too when min cheol call him hyung again. The character of mincheol is really cool.. The writer did the best and it breaks my heart for what happened to the super cute joung-ah as well as to the innocent villagers of woolchori… They just living simple life… By the way it gives me chill? when mr. Curly hair suddenly appear? lmao i bet there’s save me 3 looking forward to it. I’m saddened that this drama will come to end i will miss kim mincheol a lot♥️
