  1. Kind of weak ending (imo) with all goody patootie with the headache family who definitely don’t deserve it easy but as expected, this type of writing is typical of these dramas. Yi Zihe turned into prince charming for Siqi 🙄 oh well. Again, leads were great.

  2. what a disappointment to a promising drama but it’s expected of c-drama to turn out like this; only a few can stay interesting from beginning to end. it would’ve been better if the plot of revenges arent repeating and so many unlikable characters. they should’ve have focus developing BR character as a designer

  3. 5/10 rating for me. first half of the drama was great but the last half, boy oh boy, alot of fast forward.
not recommending for a rewatch or watch lol

  4. Well… it was interesting at first but then it began collecting tripes like it was going out of style LOL

The whole jealous sister storyline, the jealous friend storyline, the playboy turned good boy in a blink of an eye, etc… it was a lot.

But, it did have a few things going for it:
    – happy ending
    – everything wrapped up neatly in a bow
    – heavy handed on the kissing scenes haha
    – some cute and fun moments

    5.5/10

  5. I’m so glad to see that there is a Director who isn’t all mamby pamby and scared about lots of kissing and hot hot scenes, i.e. the office romp and the shower. Mercy me.

What a cute and unique proposal. In the field that means so much to them and the song and the veil, which is gorgeous by the way. Loved loved the “veiled” kiss. Cute.

WORD OF ADVICE: Hatred and unforgiveness wears and tears down the soul and spirit of people who can’t let it go, to where they are just ugly shells, suffering from torment and mental suffering.

  6. 😏… smh … this episode had me positively hyperglycemic … all the evil people repented of their despicable ways and were blessed with the forgiveness of their victims … together they all forged a better future together … a future filled with sister/brotherhood, love and happiness … and everyone lived happily ever after.

I really loved the beginning of this series but sadly it crashed and burned big time … the crash started slow and then escalated exponentially incorporating just about every trope imaginable … well not really but they might as well have given they even had to repeat tropes as if the first one wasn’t enough. The 180 flip in the last two episodes was beyond ridiculous.

Such a shame for the actors as I think they did very well … the script was the biggest weakness. Oh well 💩 happens. I did like the OST though … I looked forward to hearing that each episode … I wonder who the singer is 🤔

  7. This is a long rant…..read at your own leisure/risk….

I can’t believe they reconciled with the old bird and her family! I swear when I see all these dramas promoting family and forgiveness with family members who have clearly not earned it, it is so irritating!!!!! At least if you’re going to promote these morals, you should also promote repentance, a realisation and acceptance of past evils and wrongs, a few words of ‘i’m sorry’ (which at least the old bird indirectly did do) but the rest of this “”rosy peachy we are all happy” is all just a cock and bull story to me.

I am waiting for the day when a writer and director will have a drama where the evil doers really do get punished, really do see the error of their ways, not because they accidentally killed their child while going for revenge or suddenly need a transplant or suddenly need help to save their child, but because they really realise they are wrong. A drama that will only promote forgiveness after repentance has been shown/forgiveness asked for, and the wrong doers do the work to really show that they have changed their ways.

And lastly just a drama that can show that it is ok to go no contact or minimal contact with people who have hurt you and wish them well from a distance. Not out of anger or throwing a fit to see if your family will care, but because the person who is being hurt wants to just grow, be happy and be away from the toxicity. And that even if people have apologised, its still ok to not have any contact with them. One drama that did show this as a kind of backing story to a character was “The doctors” with Park Shin Hye where her character went no contact with her father and his new family. Even told him that while she wanted nothing to do with him, she ended up caring a little when she heard he was sick, but moving forward she still wants nothing to do with him and in future she would appreciate it if they both lived their lives well. She wished him a long happy life and asked him not get sick so that way she is never contacted.

  8. I can’t explain how terribly disappointed I am, this drama had so much potential but the ending episodes ruined the whole drama, the leads had so much chemistry which could’ve been utilized to the max at the ending episodes instead of all these crappy nonsensical negative things like characters turning dark against their nature, bad characters becoming good all of a sudden & overly obsessive characters with no valid reason for the obsession.
