    also love how he didn’t take liberties because he remembered her earlier speech on how a woman’s reputation is paramount to her survival, you could see his iron-willed restraint WE STAN RESPECTFUL MALE LEADS IN CDRAMAS

    Happy intoxicated, and all her defences down… she cannot hide that she is completely captivated by this beautiful man💖 … “You are so handsome”… up close, she can’t help but compliment exquisite good looks 🌹🌹🌹. But does drunk Xue even know what she did to him there?? Does she know the torture?? He had to force himself not to take advantage of the heavenly opportunity that unexpectedly presented itself. I was hoping for him to see more of her feelings, but THIS exceeded my expectations… he literally had to swallow back his desire and turn her face away 🔥🔥🔥. When that didn’t work, he had to move his whole body away from her enchanting invitation… but she teasingly blocked him at every turn so he could not escape. What torture she is capable of in a drunken state, jfc...

    They were drinking but I was the one completely intoxicated by them in the rain together. And that soundtrack tho, it kicked up in all the right places, setting the mood right… Even the way they called each other’s names~ aaahhhhh save me, I need help!! 🪭🪭🪭

  12. This feels like the midpoint deterioration, the icky drunk scene was horrible and the weirdly quick resolution of the brocade problem. They could have made this drama classier by removing all the ridiculous music CGI bits and not making her act totally out of character by shouting I’m not drunk repeatedly when she clearly is. Plus FGS, no flirting scenes when she is still a married woman.

  15. The rain scene with the music was very nice, but I also thought she looked very beautiful when she said his name and when she called him handsome.. I prefer her look like this without much makeup it make her more beautiful
