2. The officials are starting to see the ex husband unter a new light and I’m waiting for his downfall
   We thought it was just the princess being obsessed with him but He knew everything and still proceed to kill his wife. Let’s say destroying her reputation wasn’t his idea but he did nothing to protect her afterwards

   I don’t care about his guilt or him acting like he doesn’t know Jian Li is Xue Fangfei to protect her from the princess he should have done his job as her husband since the beginning.
   Now he want to act like a loving son-in-law.

   I feel so bad for The Magistrate Xue he probably lost his mind after learning what happened to his children

3. Here comes the drama, finally the good and evil meets in the king’s court AND leaves us in the cliffhanger! Ending scene is such a game changer move I wanna know who will cower… I can’t wait for tomorrow

   Duke Su and JL’s presence alone gives me butterflies in my belly.. I act like magistrate Xue with that lil drum whenever I see them, in my own happy world hahaha

4. The “interrogation” was a nice moment. Her snuggling into his cloak was so sweet 😊

   Li Sr trying to intimidate and bully JL on her way to the court was such a good moment. He’s walking around her while talking at her and speaking threateningly, is like that scene from Lion King with the hyenas circling Simba when he was younger. He is definitely threatened by her. Of course Duke Su was nearby and didn’t let Li Sr get away with that BS.

   Now they both know about the other’s background…

   That was executed perfectly! I was worried, at first, that the civilians would be scared and/or threatened to be silent and take back their claims. The court scene unfolded so well. Like the stupidity of the 5000 taels in question. Like how does that make any sense? Thank goodness this was a smart and fair ruler. Still didn’t knock Li Sr out, but they did clear some bad apples out.

   I wanted to 🤮 when Shen fake assed his way to his father in law like he was a caring son in law and human being. Love how clear Duke Su laid it out with the deaths of the Xue siblings. Now that Duke Su will be in charge of investigating the deaths of Xue sibs… shizz about to heat up 🔥

   Why is that stupid princess allowed to just waltz into court like that and get to do her psychopathic spins? Seriously, GTFO…go spin somewhere else. You’re eating up screen time and I would rather it be put towards JL and Duke Su…

5. What an excellent script🔥🔥 I am really enjoying this drama.

   When Duke Su sit next to her, Ahh my heart. They don’t need a kiss, their chemistry is already on fire.

   the way she defended her father and the people is absolutely terrific 👏👏

   I really wish her ex-husband would accept his crimes in front of everyone, but no, he is a cowardly and ridiculous man.

   But Xue Li has Duke Su, he will clear her name. ♥️♥️♥️

   I really wonder how they will counter what the crazy princess is claiming. Will Duke Su step up and help? I really see no way out…
   screenwriters better make something up to save her and not feed us some BS/filler drama going on for the next 10 episodes… Please 🙏

8. I’ve never wanted tomorrow to come so badly as I do today. I’m aching for it like never before, just to watch the next episodes!! That’s how good this drama is.
   I know Xue Fangfei will be able to protect her false identity for now, but at some point, it will be exposed, and I dread the thought.
   But I love seeing how Duke Su always has her back. The couple amazes me every single time. That’s a power couple.
   This is the beginning of Shen Yurong’s downfall, and I’m here for it!!

11. Jiang Li’s dad is quite something! He gets mad at Jiang Li and refuses to talk to her, and the wife just makes everything worse, but then the grandma talks to him then all of a sudden, he changes his mind. It’s quite repetitive.

13. Am I the only one who feels the trial lackluster? With all the things that had happened to Jiang Li and her adventures from Luyang to Huaixiang for the quest to reopen her father’s case… the trial was done and closed through her word of mouth only.

    I hope they could have uncover “new” evidences to solidify her claims of Magister Xue being wrongfully convicted.

    A solid evidence that could link to all the cases she witnessed (the gold mine, that pig Magistrate’s corruption, Xue family case, Luyang case) instead of just providing testimonies from the people of Huaixiang.

    Realistically speaking (as a viewer ofc), I feel testimonies presented on the court are weak and can provide loopholes in cases as big as Magister Xue.

    Also…since Xiao Heng and the emperor are already in cahoots of protecting Jiang Li no matter what happens, it also feels that all of Jiang Li’s efforts from Luyang to Huaixiang are all in vain lol

    I just can’t help but to think she’s indeed just a pawn lol

14. Tbvh, I’ve watched some really good Cdramas but I must say this one got me hooked! I look forward to the episodes daily & never skip,very unusual for someone like me who is ultra impatient! Congratulations to the writer & the actors & thank you for a brilliant drama.💜,

15. XUE HUAIYUAN IS VINDICATED!! 🙌👏👏👏😀 Well done, Jiang Li… well done! Her advocacy was satisfying to watch. An untampered retrial to restore the Xue’s good name and begin exposing the true scandal behind it all was too long overdue and came at a high cost of pain, suffering and deaths.

    I’m so triggered by those two bastards, Li and YuRong, their audacity absolutely sickened me the most throughout it all. My blood boiled at the sight of Shen YuRong attempting to show sympathy for Xue’s father! How dare even show his face in front of him… this is why I cannot feel anything towards him at all other than rage and disgust… always a coward and massive hypocrite! Let everyone start seeing his true face today!!

    And Wanning is really jumping the gun to show up at this time to try stirring up shit for Jiang Li. To me she is making her involvement even more obvious… but clearly her arrogance is so high she can’t even care. They probably got to the head mistress from the Hall but I don’t see how she can verify hearsay without evidence at this point. I want her to make an absolute fool out of herself in front of everyone.

16. The BEST last 2 episodes so far. When Jiang Li struck the ‘justice drum’, it was so heartfelt I cried a thousand rivers. I am not deceived by Shen’s seemingly vulnerable stance. Although, he ‘seems’ disagreeable to the princess’ whims, he is a coward and useless ex-husband and very despicable man.
