  2. Wow. That step mom is next level crazy. She actually threw her own daughter under the bus by making her crazy just to get rid of JL. And it was only after her daughter finally summoned the courage to speak up.

    Booo too bad no sweet moments in this ep with Duke and JL… but it confirmed my suspicions that the Aunt Hu was faking it and that Aunt Hu’s daughter died at the hands of JL’s step mom.

  3. This is compelling, but I hope it gets taken care of quickly.. I know that the plots will continue to the last episode, it’s just that kind of drama.. and I really like this drama, but I’m feeling saturated by devious plots one after another.

  4. Even the evil stepmom have a limit on how cruel she can’t be. The one time I wouldn’t mind her being cruel, she fails. Her dad deserve no mercy. Good thing Xue now have her own spy she used to be prepared for all of the stepmom’s evil plans. Let’s get ready to rumble!

  5. I do not know what to feel about Ji Shuran and her dad. She had a much better personality in her younger days. But her dad made her into a half devil. But frankly speaking, if she stayed firm in her belief like Xue Fangfei, no matter how bad her situation was, she would not turned into a 😈 Luckily for the dad, she didn’t proceed with the broken arm threat. But finally, he got a taste of his creation. Karma 😐

    I wonder what is the purpose of getting her ex lover into Jiang family? So that he could put the blame of what happened to Ruoyao onto Jiang Li? How could Ji Shuran guarantee that the medicine Ruoyao had eaten would not cause any long term negative impact on her? She was crazy 😮‍💨

    Duke Su placed a spy as a gardener in Jiang family for 7 years. This might mean there would be spies in other ministers’ houses too. This was how the emperor got to gather information on the happenings outside the palace 😬

  6. Ji Shu Ran, Ji Shu Ran, Ji Shu Ran – ghadamn, this is one twisted woman!! She is next in line after Wan Ning! A pair of crazy hyenas. I can’t say I’m completely surprised by these revelations, but they run deep. From being a husband snatcher and having an affair to being a two-timed murderer. The devil works hard, but Ji Shu Ran works harder. I, for one, cannot wait until she gets what is coming to her. It’s past time she received her punishment.

    And what we have been saying about Jiang Yuan Bai proved to be true, he was the “fool” they chose because he is so gullible and easy to manipulate.

  7. I found this scene very intense. Ji Shu Ran is walking beside her executioner and does not know it. Both women are strong-willed and determined to achieve their goals – one to bring justice and the other to bring chaos and death.

  11. taking way too long to exact revenge. i know it’s 40 episodes but surely they can grant us some kind of satisfaction about now.
    i can almost visualise the next 2 episodes where the exorcist come n accuse JL of being possessed n then there would be a test to see if she’s the real JL and she would be checked if she is still a virgin.. sigh.
    i wish they wld do that n then she reveals she is having an affair with our duke and they are forced to wed and the next 10 episodes we would hv lots of marital bliss scenes. how can our duke su not even appear in this episode. this is a major protest!!

  13. Was today’s episode supposed to dredge up sympathy for Li Shuran, cause it didn’t work for me. All people like her, Wanning, YuRong, The Li`s, YanBang, Ye, maid Sun, even RuoYao… what they all show in common is that they all rely on blaming someone else for why they ‘had’ to to the terrible things they did. But this is the whole point that Jiang Li made to RuoYao, that despite everything you always have a choice, you can CHOOSE to keep going down that destructive road or turn back from it. And she did not. Worse yet she went after the innocent in the most heinous schemes, but did nothing to the one who allegedly “made her this way”… please, give me a break.

    I cannot wait for her to get what’s coming to her, and I hope it ends in one episode cause I’m already tired of her and her bullshit story. Let her come through with her fake ex-lover, let Jiang Li wipe the floor with the both of them, let old man Jiang finally realize how stupid he actually is that he put this witch above everything else for so long and please LET US GET BACK TO JIANG LI AND THE DUKE. That’s what I want at this point. Thank you. I’ve honestly had enough of the Jiangs. Time to start dealing with Shen YuRong.

  17. Regardless is the father is a honorably man or not, he’s a damn fool and I despise him the most. The man is just a BITCH!!!! At the end when all is revealed he should pay with his life. So many ppl died around him yet still he’s clueless to every thing. He never stopped to think for a sec, hard to believe.

  25. 13 eps till we’re finished but we haven’t seen any success attempts from Ji Shuran’s side to totally kick A’Li out of the Jiang family lol

    Tbh, watching this drama, I am the who’s being tired of her and her maid do something again and again but always ended up as a failed attempt lol 😅😅😅
