  1. I wish I could say that I feel bad for the princess right now with her ‘pregnancy’ and having to claim a false father, but honestly I’m basking in her misery. All the crying and hurt feelings she’s going through right now isn’t even an OUNCE of what she’s put others and their families through. Just because she had a rough history doesn’t mean she needs to pass on that trauma to every person in her vicinity. I am patiently waiting for Shen Yurong and Wanning to get the full retribution that they deserve.

    Also, Xue Fangfei’s brother calling Xiao Heng BROTHER IN LAW 🫦🫦🫦 yeah… more of that please 🤭🤭 he is sooooo husband.

  3. As always, it’s the women that bear the pain and responsibility of making peace with another nation while the men only think about fighting for nonsensical reasons. I wish back then marrying the men off for peace would have been possible.

    Not that that excuses the princess behaviour. I wonder how she came back to her home state after being married. Did I miss that?

  4. LOL I loved the beginning of this episode with lil bro calling Duke Su his BIL!! Haha so cute. I am so glad he didn’t die!! I hope he walks again… he deserves the best life ❤️

    As much as I want to feel bad for what the Princess went through, I cannot overlook all her evil doings…

    Yes, what she endured was horrible. But what she put XFF and her family through…. What she put a whole town through with the mine…. Killing and torturing whenever she feels like it… None of those things equate. They can never equate.

You’d think that after all that misery, humiliation, physical and mental torture the princess went through in another nation, she’d at least make sure no other woman suffers the way she did but no!!! She’s running around sacrificing women just so she can have a man … !!! If anything else, she should’ve been torturing and hating MEN to “take her revenge” not the innocent women SMH !!! I do not feel sorry for her at all!! She deserves everything that is happening to her ..

  6. I think the writer is trying to make us have some sympathy for the trauma that the Princess went through for all those years. Yes it’s horrific that she had to suffer over and over again for years….BUT that does not excuse her current behavior. There are a lot of women who’ve been R’d and abused who when they finally escape that situation, they don’t chose to be evil and bring pain to other women. She’s off her rocker and has been for a long time, but it doesn’t give her free license to ruin everyone else’s life. She fell in love with Shen because he was kind and pure and then she single handedly destroyed all the good things about him, is it any shocker that he’s willing to sacrifice the Princess’s marriage in order to use it as a chess piece for more power?

  8. Jiang Li’s step mother, her daughter, Jiang Li’s her cousin, Xu Fengfei, the princess.. the things these women did for the men they loved !!! They sacrificed everything including themselves to keep that love safe but they all ended up betrayed!!! Every single one of them 💀💀

  9. Emperor Ziao knows his sister loves Duke Su, so I wonder if he’s going to require Duke Su to marry Jiuyue as a condition of getting the army. It was unusually bad planning by the duke to give away the Longwu army before ensuring he had a commitment for Great Zhao’s army. But I guess he was rushing to prevent the Xue Fangfei – Shen Yurong marriage. It looks like Shen Yurong is going to dodge marriage to Wanning, so Xue Fangfei is still facing potential danger from him, while the duke can’t afford to turn down Great Zhao’s army so he may have to commit to marrying Jiuyue. What a tangled web!

This show really hates it’s women… They are made to suffer the most, and are also written as the biggest villains of the show, even though they don’t really have that much power/control over their own lives. Women who suffer are either become villains, turn crazy, or die, all except for the our female lead who is held up as more virtuous and more intelligent than the rest. Maybe the writers are trying to make up for it with adding these tragic back stories but no viewer in their right mind would change their mind about it at that point and it actually makes the characters more hateful for the hypocrisy it shows.
