  5. Damn it, I cried… I know it’s only one in the thousands of dramas, but I can’t imagine how queer folks must feel watching this. Yes, the Prince has to live in the closet for years to come most likely but they’ve been acknowledged and accepted by one of the most important people in their life. It’s far from a happy ending but it’s a beginning, especially in a country like Korea where LGBTQ+ people are still facing serious discrimination.

It is fascinating to look beneath the queen’s polished exterior at the mother desperate to protect her children, at the person so suffocated by her life that the only place where she can breathe and cry freely is in a small room in the basement. Such an original perspective! My favourite drama of 2022:D

  8. Esta reina es una guerrera como y apoya sus hijos es increible ., me inmagino que se preparo bien en campo y pista porque todo el drama ha estado corriendo espero que lo sepan apreciar y es increible como una abuela puede hacerle dano a sus nieto solo para mantener el control del poder..

  9. It’s only been 3 episodes and I already love this drama, the final scene was amazing. I love the queen and how she embraced her child <3 hoping to see more of this, I have already cried too much haha
