in 1st epi when that friend was saying that Uncle came & saved his family…that silloute didnt look like uncle or it may be some friend of uncle who came to save that guy on behalf of uncle, who will come for Jian too?..
this is something i noticed, not sure if anyone else did but when you say “murthehelp” out loud. it sounds like “murder help”, which is such a smart name for a low-key shop for killers haha.

Poor Jian was so traumatized as a kid. Sitting in a morgue with the dead mother near her and a killer searching must be extremely terrifying. Bullies don’t even stop in primary school. If I had a kid who harassed others I would definitely discipline them. It’s so messed up to terrorize someone cause their parents died and they cannot speak.
I don’t know why everyone know uncle name and identity? If you run such business you want to be anonymous. How they found the their address?
This scene was so sad. She didn’t even known her mom and dad was dead and found out like this :(. No wonder she was traumatized and hasn’t able to speak.
Her uncle felt guilty beause her parents died because of him… When he rescued her you could see how relieve he was. So sad he is dead already.
Her story was soo sad that I cried so hard after watching it π. I really want her to kick everyone’s ass π π€¬.
The way this is giving me Leon: The Professional vibes in the best possible way. Like a nod to the old Hollywood action thrillers. Back when they knew how to make a movie.

Awwwwww the background story tho. ππβ€οΈso basically his reappearance killed his family. Bro that’s so sad. He feels guilty and she was tramatized since little. but thank goodness for this two ep on one day cuz wth is going on here! And it feels extra short! πdang this is going to kill us w this waiting lol. Im so curious!! It seems like those guys r betraying. And there’s someone who ordered the hunt for Jian. For the money and legacy of JMan. Jian is smart tho. She’s like her uncleπππ₯ i really hope JMin is a good guy, so far he’s good but is he trying to fish info? I feel like that lady Chinese tutor is code green but we shall see.

I’m so impressed by the child actor Ahn Se Bin. I think she was phenomenal in this episode. π and why is this only 8 episodes?!!!

these young actors have been killing it, better performances in 1-2 eps than actors 2 to 3x their age WOW that morgue scene broke my heart
I already love this series….. interesting
A couple of points:
1- Disney figured out the secret sauce from Netflix. Copying is the best form of flattery. There are 2 directors which is really strange. The main director (I think) is the writer as well. Has some experience in TV, but film as well. The 2nd director has done 1 film which has…a huge side story involved with it (too long to explain).
2- Film people just work better in the streaming world since there aren’t any restrictions on time or content (or some weird coffee placement).
3- 8 episodes make the story fast paced. You hardly have time to figure out what is going on. No time to check your phone or multi-task with other stuff. Just locked in the whole time (or you have to re-watch it).
4- Nothing online about the budget. Has to be healthy though. My guess would be $15M (+-$2M). Although, none of the sets / shooting locations have been extravagant. Could be on the lower end.
(They glazed over the morgue scene with the uncle too quickly. The tattoo seemed like an intentional clue for her.)
