1. Ugh, this drama is so frustrating. I get one glimpse of awesomeness and a ton of junk. But I keep returning because of the sunk cost fallacy…

   This episode was full of misses. First, with the “being pure” bs. Wth are they even trying to say? That people who have previous relationship experience are some kind of degenerates? Having been in previous relationships is very different from two-timing which is plain wrong! Then, the completely unnecessary misunderstanding because Sinyu suddenly decided to respect Nayeon’s feelings. Lol ok bro. On top of that, they keep going on circles about supernatural phenomena. Why is it so difficult to clear this point? The characters don’t have to know if the mystery is that important to the plot but trying to pull the same gotcha moments on the viewers constantly is annoying. To me, it looks less like an intriguing mystery and more like the writer can’t make up their damn mind. As for the last part, my blood was boiling. The one thing they have clearly shown about Hongjo is that she cares about her job. And Sinyu knows that! So having Sinyu trying to play the macho us-against-the-world guy instead of trying to defuse the crisis when it’s Hongjo’s position on the line is absolutely unacceptable. Not to mention: Hongjo needs that job to make a living while Sinyu can go on a prolonged hiatus without dealing with financial problems.

   At least Hongjo stated the obvious: neither she, nor the viewers, can be sure about her feelings. She suddenly decided that she liked Sinyu after being laser focused on Jaekyung. Of course feelings can change and it is actually possible to like two people at the same time. But from everything they’ve shown and told the viewers about Hongjo, I just can’t be sure whether she likes Sinyu or the idea of Sinyu (and everything he stands for) pursuing her.

   I wish they showed Sinyu being with his only friend more because it makes him feel more real. The only interesting part was the very last scene. For now, it looks like this plot works best when it’s about the past instead of the present.

2. fuck I hate curses and black magic shit that includes blood it seriously scares me, I’m so stressed out from that gosh darn gardener and that bitch nayeon ugh. also they told us from the beginning he killed her in their previous life I’m still waiting for that explanation and she was probably the the one to curse him and the red hand and she’s the only one that can break it and as the old lady lady said they are each others destiny.
