  1. Ugh, I hope their “kiss” gets interrupted. This is not a romantic scene. One participant is not only drunk, but also under a spell that’s affecting his judgement. Not cool, not cool at all. Btw, their conundrum could have been temporarily dealt with if Sinyu left. He has a good reason (his illness) to take a break from work and go abroad or something. But that wouldn’t move the romance forward, would it? On the other hand, Hongjo and Jaekyung’s scenes were particularly painful to watch. Not sure if the writer made it purposely weird to show that they don’t match or if the actors have negative chemistry, but it was BAD! And Hongjo’s character is really unlikable when she’s acting so desperate.

    Generally speaking, I’m still not finding any of the main characters easy to root for. At least Sinyu has the excuse of not controlling his feelings, but what about everyone else? Also, do we need to see so much of Sinyu’s parents? Is their relationship relevant to the main plot other than being the male lead’s family? I guess his mother is supposed to be ~sassy but I find her grating. And I suspect that she’ll be instantly ok with Hongjo dating her son just because. I wish they showed us more of the Joseon events instead.

    Side note: I don’t understand why all these dramas lately have such bad styling ? is it the same person’s fault or is it an epidemic of bad taste? You have pretty leading ladies who would look cute in almost anything and tall leading men who can easily look dashing. Instead, they’re dressed in all these ill-fitting clothes who make them seem like frumpy aunties and uncles. I don’t care if they wear luxury brands or fast fashion, but dear lord, get them some better clothes!

    2. You’re a frumpy aunty/uncle for saying that. Do you expect them to have the same wardrobe as you?? What kind of comment is that?! That’s litterally the fashion there, so what? The majority in most countries in the east tend to dress more modest, but then you have the west where many people like to show more skin (these don’t apply for every single individual), but SO WHATT???!! it’s their choice.

    4. this drama is so badly written! what do we even know about the main characters so far. and for goodness sake why can’t we PICK A STRUGGLE. either he is cursed, under a love spell or stuck in an arranged marriage coz now its all just too much and too confusing!and where is the story even headed!!
