  3. This is so messy but also hilarious! On one hand, I feel bad for Siyu because his brain has been hijacked by the spell and he has to do things he doesn’t actually want to. (That would be absolutely terrifying irl.) On the other hand, watching him pull all the cheesy lines and moves usually associated with male leads is so damn funny! There were moments when I full body cringed because of the things he said ? I do wonder how the writer will solve this conundrum. They have to lift the love spell before they actually fall in love. But the silver lining is that he got cured? They haven’t shown the bloody hand after they did the spell. But they haven’t shown him getting any medical checks done either.

    I’m very pleased that Boss Ma is a real BOSS! The workplace harassment was getting tiring and we were only 2 episodes in. I’m interested in seeing whether Hongjo will pick up a little bit of her attitude. We have seen that she can stand up for herself when she wishes to, so I don’t really understand why she’s such a pushover at work. I must confess I’m still not sold on her character. But I feel like the second male lead seems like such a sane, thoughtful, well-adjusted person, I hope they don’t ruin his character later.

    As for the dreams/ flashbacks: From the very few things they’ve shown, I guess Siyu’s noble ancestor had met Hongjo’s ancestor, who later became the shaman. They probably fell in love but they couldn’t be together because she was too “lowly” and she also had to remain unwed as a shaman. Was she the one to put the curse on his family or someone else?
