Synopsis:
Genghis Kahn built an empire that spanned vast regions in East Asia and East Europe. And there was one woman who held immense power in the Yuan Dynasty, which Genghis Khan founded, for 37 years. She was neither of Mongol descent nor from the Han Chinese. She came from Goryeo, a small kingdom in the Far East. She was taken to Mongol against her will as a Gungnyeo (palace women) but somehow overcame her lowly status to become an empress in another land. Her name was Empress Ki.

Don’t be angry because taghon died at the end, even I was very displeased when Tal Tal and the emperor died, but when I came to think of it empress ki is a historical drama it’s not just a drama but a history. When I read the the movie summary it was like empress ki has a tragic ending, yh sure it has but it was not that tragic, the emperor has cleared every threat that will distroy his wife and son before giving up, he was a very weak emperor but thanks to nyang she really do bring the best out of him, to me empress ki is a very wonderful historical drama. Cause I watched it from ep1 to 51 without missing any single episode

  10. Some of it was true. What an amazing woman Empress Ki was. Beautifully portrayed. Ji Chang-wook is a complicated Emperor. I think it was well represented. ❤
