  2. Wow, just WOW! The “mother” has outdone herself once again ????? she will not be satisfied until the entire world knows how much she abhors her own daughter! And the “father”, what a great hero! One wonders exactly how he led troops in battle when he can’t even stand straight in front of his wife. And I know that “they have their reasons” or whatever they like to tell themselves to excuse their horrible behaviour, but guess what: nothing can excuse their horrible behaviour!
    If Ling Buyi hadn’t persisted on marrying Shaoshang even after all her “parents” theatrics in front of the Emperor, no other family would have ever proposed to her! Which family would accept a daughter-in-law that even her own family doesn’t want? They would have destroyed her future prospects and leave her no place in society with all the bulls*** they said. My god, I really hope this poor thing gets married asap and leaves that awful house. Except for her brothers and Third Uncle & Aunt, everyone else in that family is trash.     I have had some tears in this episode.
    What a great disappointment and pain for a daughter who was “left” to her “fate” in her childhood and now, when she is older, her “parents” want to do what they could not do before.
    With parents like that… and that abandonment of her childhood, Ella grew up without that parental love that is so important.

  5. Damn, her family betrayed her do much. I’m not even mad I feel heartbroken and disappointed. I mean yes you don’t agree with your child’s attitude but to dehumanizing her infront of a crowd of people is shameful and sad ? Don’t worry Nianiao I love you.
